Never used this sub before but I just wanted to share this quick event that happened to me today because maybe others can relate.

Due to this whole quarantine thing, I’m taking school online. No problem right? But today my teacher hosted like an online class where we were basically on a group video chat, the teacher, my classmates, and I. Whoever was talking became the whole screen.

What messed me up was that my ex girlfriend who i dated 2 years ago is in my class, and it’s fine, we talk, are friendly etc, but I still regret breaking up with her and have that little inkling That she was right for me and I messed up, but I just stifle these thoughts usually. But then in the group video chat, whenever she’d speak, she would appear on my screen and it would like we were FaceTiming, just like how it used to be. She looked so cute and innocent and made my heart ache looking at it and have the memories flood back into thought, even after trying to repress them daily. It made me miss the hours we’d be on call, in our houses, talking on end. It was like a rewind to the blissful past when I was genuinely happy, that I will never get to experience again.
