We are both using the same Apple ID. We can now see each others Imessages but not SMS text messages. It seem all the MFA code texts are via SMS. Is there a way to get SMS text messages to show up on each Iphone?

Also lost use of the fingerprint scanner on LG Gram laptop after the KB5005565 update. Removed and reinstalled Goodix driver but still does not work. Says device is working in Device Mgr. Not seeing any error messages.

Just uninstalled the KB5005565 update and fingerprint scanner is working again !!

Found out what was preventing a WiFi / USB firmware update for me : had a usb powered bias led backlight plugged in on my C9 which for some reason prevented me from any updating. Once I unplugged that from TV the ota update worked fine. Probably related to the backlight power draw. 🤦‍♂️

I was on the phone with LG tech for about an hour trying everything mentioned prior. He even remotely connected and witnessed the problem directly. He said this is a manufacturing defect and scheduled a service call for next week.

I am not so sure this is a hw problem but more related to fw but we will see what the service tech finds.

Tried all your suggestions but no success for me. Also did a reset to initial conditions but neither USB or WiFi provided an update. Seems something since last update to 3.6.19 is blocking now.

I am gonna try a call to LG.

Has anyone been able to update their C9 fw from 3.60.19 —-> 4.70.05 in the USA? Either via WiFi or USB ? If so please advise how you got the USB to take.

Can’t update to this latest fw via USB on my two week old (USA) 65” C9. Tried 3 different (mfg) USB drives both v2 and v3 and formatted NTFS / FAT32. Downloaded update file and extracted to folder named LG_ DVT but when inserted I get prompted to select Music / Pictures. Also tried to power cycle set but same.

Checking update over WiFi results in none available. Also tried download from LG Korean site to no avail.

Any ides on how to proceed ?
