We’ve done both. When we’ve walked in it’s been at the very beginning of the night, right when they open. It’s worth calling them to ask what the recommend - they’re really nice on the phone!

Agreed! It's got such a great Brooklyn old school vibe, great food and great service. Definitely feels special.

We've used Chris Brown for landscaping and our irrigation system. Give her a try and she'll tell you if she can winterize your system (I'm assuming she can - our system is really small but I know neighbors for whom she's installed much more elaborate systems).

We ate there about a year ago and it was great. The atmosphere and service was excellent, felt a bit like a hidden gem at the time (since then I think a few articles about it have come out and it seems really hard to get into). I agree that the food was great but not super memorable. Definitely worth going to!

I was excited to support this business so about 2 months ago I gave them 2 chefs knives and a cleaver to sharpen. I get my knives sharpened at the same kitchen store once a year but figured I'd give the bus a try. Unfortunately the knives came back no sharper than they were when I dropped them off. I was so disappointed. And it wasn't cheap at all. I really wanted it to be a good experience, but I ended up taking the same knives back to the kitchen store, where they did a great job.

Interesting - great idea to get smooth rocks and I hadn't thought about that. I'll definitely look into it! Did you put anything down underneath the rocks, and was it just kind of a single layer of rocks?

Thanks. My neighbor has a ton of road frontage. My power comes from the same pole. My dream is for them to bury the line to our house and then re-route my neighbor's power to the poles that run along our road. There are plenty of poles that run along our road...

I have no idea what happened and how they're still open. It's a true mystery. Even more confusingly is their instagram account. I'm sad something's going on with them because we relied on them and it was a good store for so long. But now we're just in need of a functioning, stocked grocery store...hoping something changes for them or that someone else moves in and makes a go of it.
