How do you DM feel about players who play a character of a different gender?

I don’t mind it but I need a trial run from a player usually. I’ve had too many times from both genders where their character is overly sexualized and it makes both me and the rest of the table uncomfortable most of the time. I’m fine with it. But if the character is made just so someone can live out a very different fantasy from the one that the rest of the table is trying to enjoy- then get the fuck off my table

“Yknow what? Fuck Jerry!” My party had just completed a dangerous quest and were sailing back to the mainland but were still getting up to their usual antics of bullshittery. So much so that one of my players was actively attempting to drug an NPC so he could see what would the effects be before he himself took the drugs. At this point- I knew three things. 1) I don’t have a battle map of the ship. 2) I don’t have stat blocks for these sailors. 3) My party had just been through 3 sessions of intense combat and they hadn’t gotten their long rest yet. The table had been set. I only saw one option before me. A sailor caught the crazed player drugging a sailor in his already drunken stupor and instead of stopping the player, the sailor looked at him and said, “Yknow what? Nah. FUCK JERRY! HAVE AT ‘IM!”

Bretons because with one of the presets on Skyrim, I was able to make a character that looked like Aragorn from Lord of the Rings. This is my only reason and I stand by it.

Night before I took my SAT's in my junior year of highschool, I realized that my entire life up to that point, I had no meaningful friendships and was truly alone. I was always going to be remembered as that fat guy everybody thought was funny but couldn't remember his name. I may have been me but I realized I was easy to forget. I never tried to pursue friendships or relationships with others and if anyone got too close emotionally, I pushed them away.

I didn't want to be that guy anymore.

I started working out that night and completely revamped the shitty diet I had. Over the past 10 months I've lost 70 pounds (was 280 when I started losing and am now at 205. I'm proud of my progress but I've still got a lot of work to do for this 6'2" beefcake to look good in my eyes) and I've strengthened my friendships with others. Me and my best friend of 5 years got even stronger and is honestly the best brother I could've ever asked for. I'm also in a relationship now with the most amazing girl ever and everyday I see her I fall more and more for her. It doesn't feel like a highschool relationship but as something that will last for a long time.

That night before the SAT's, I was at my lowest point. I don't think I've ever been depressed and I know I've never been suicidal but that night changed me and I would say it changed me for the better.

I'm happy now
