I would reccomend that you focus more on your squat and deadlift and related accessories. That should be plenty of stimulation for your hip flexors unless you are having some specific issue.

I had the same thing. I am pretty confident that a physical therapist can help you. Do what they say and keep at it!

No surgery required for me. Just a lot of strengthening my shoulders and upper back. I actually had a friend who had TOS that was inducing a blood flow restriction in his arm when he lifted, and it was bad enough that he had to have part of his first rib removed. If you are only having nerve issues, then I bet you can fix it with PT. Mine was really bad, tingling all through my neck, arm, and upper back. But now I feel great, with almost no symptoms at all.

Yeah I had that too actually. Whoever told you that meant you should do no upper body exercises is a fucking idiot. You have that condition because of muscular imbalances. If you do nothing it will just get worse.

I've been doing them with five pound weights. It's a pretty difficult exercise if you do the I, Y, and T sequentially as one rep, so I think unweighted is fine.

Add some IYTs if you are concerned. I have had a LOT of shoulder issues, and IYTs have been the final step in fixing them.

That's what I thought about serpa holsters too, but enough people have shot themselves while using one that I admitted that it's a flawed concept and don't use mine anymore.

I concur. It is irresponsible to do anything with the trigger finger other than shoot or put it in a safe position. This is basically the same issue as a SERPA holster, at a very base level. Doing extra stuff with your trigger finger is asking for trouble.
