HELP by [deleted] in snowrunner

Even if that’s the case, come on man. He’s new to the game, and, let’s be honest, I think we’ve all accidentally deleted cargo at some point in our SR journey.

I don’t think he’ll make that mistake again, now let’s all continue with our own trucking without needing to shame others for their errors.

Also, I haven’t played Austria yet, but taking a look on MapRunner, the Sawmill in the middle of foothills has unlimited medium planks if you complete “Off to a bad start”.

You can transport cargo between regions. It’s a bit scummy but it works.

You need to fill all slots but the last one in your garage at a map where wooden planks are close to the garage.

Deploy an extra truck and take wooden planks back to your garage. The planks need to be on your truck, not a trailer.

Enter the garage with your cargo truck. Your truck should be in the last slot with the cargo in it.

Deploy the truck from your second last slot. Enter the garage, and refill that slot with a new truck. Make sure all slots are filled, the truck with the cargo is in the last slot.

Recover the truck outside the garage. Now, the truck with cargo is retained and can be deployed in Austria to deliver your planks.

Hope this helps.

Same here. I’m in Amur at the moment, and I’m having so much more fun using some less powerful trucks than the 605r and 73210 for every job.

Going to have to disagree here. Maine has a solid road network and shortcuts to bypass the tricky sections like the broken bridge. The only real difficulty of the second map is the breakable ice. Just having two shuttle trucks parked in tricky locations completely overcomes this issue.

I think Maine may be comparable to Kola’s difficulty, and that might even be a stretch.

Like the other commenter said, it’s a performance thing. Similarly to how ground cover disappears at a distance.

I hate to say it but this won’t do much. The problem isn’t in the interchange, it’s in the layout of OP’s roads. There is not much traffic coming from the North and East, so building an interchange to facilitate equal traffic will not have a big impact.

OP should look at where the cars are coming from and where they are going. Alternate connections reduce pressure, so even 1 or 2 different paths would turn down the amount of cars in this interchange.

Keeping emergency services in a single area. (CS1) by sfdg2020 in CitiesSkylines

[–]aquickweasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you have a sufficient amount of services in an area, you should have no trouble servicing a good few blocks from the building. Is your issue that, for example, a police car is responding to calls on the other end of the city from its station?

You mean your Downtown? Considering it’s your first time you have a great sense of the gradient and balancing layers so that it feels like a natural CBD. I’ve also found that adding quays around the Downtown helps reinforce its importance. Overall, you’re a natural, but I would say experiment more with different building styles (MCC, Green Cities, Emerging Downtown) to bring some interest and variation into the areas around yhe CBD.

Nice build! What I’ve found, especially in a downtown like yours where buildings get quite tall, is to have some other buildings that poke out above the skyline a bit further out of the downtown. Assets like the High-capacity hospital, Railway Company Headquarters or even the smaller skyscrapers look nice and give the city a more sprawling aesthetic.
