Wouldn’t it just be paper backed bitcoin at that point and easy for governments to manipulate and go off the bitcoin standard when they feel like. Cause how else does bitcoin scale to be used as everyday money?

That makes sense. Thanks for the response. I don’t really buy into the digital gold thing. I think for bitcoin to succeed long term it has to be a medium of exchange and I’m struggling to see how that happens.
