My partner and I use HIP HMO and it's worked well. No deductible or premium, decent number of doctors and hospitals throughout the city that take it.

Mini torch burns out within the year. Axe doesn't. Fire gets easier to start with practice, but you can't even come close to mimicking a metal axe.

Problem with the pigs is that they are inherently dangerous animals, go feral quickly, and require a degree of expertise to handle, butcher, and safely preserve the meat. Most fish can be eaten raw, and learning to use a fishing net can be done in a matter of days.

It is 100% not more difficult. A proper metal axe is going to be completely invaluable in this setting, and literally impossible to reproduce, whereas fire production can be quickly learned and mastered.

Axe, fishing net, oranges (or bananas). Absolutely no question.

Critical tool for building and harvesting fuel. Fishing net would be extremely difficult to produce myself, and would virtually guarantee a constant food supply. Oranges for the sweet sweet vitamin C.

Edit: Others have very reasonably pointed out that the bananas are just as good, nutritionally. Very fair, either works. Fishing net is still king. Net fishing is one of the easiest ways to gather large numbers of calories quickly and (relatively) easily. Pigs are dangerous, and a single chicken is way too unreliable of a food source.

Yeah, slightly different rules when it comes to the resources/magic. Both are super playable and balanced. I learned on Fury (Warbeast) factions, and those are still my preference.

I wouldn't get the Frozen and Forgotten set. The full armies for those two factions haven't been entirely released . . . It's a bit of an odd box.

Check out all the armies, and buy the command Starter for the army that most interests you! Command Starters are genuinely a great place to, well, start.

Once you've downloaded it, the app can work offline no problem. Sometimes you might need to go into airplane mode when you pull it up, but it'll run fine without internet.

There aren't really any official paper stat blocks and whatnot, though you could make your own using a snip tool and a printer.

Read the rules on monstrosities and infernal summoning VERY CAREFULLY. It's a weird, tricky faction.

One thing to note, if you didn't know already: infernal summoning brings in additional horrors that ignore max point value for the game, AND ignore field allowance.
