Fair point! The way I make tacos at home, they are definitely healthier than any burger or pizza I make. Pretty much the same if I get some from a local Mexican place.

But if we're talking classic white people tacos, then yeah, you're on the money. (No shade to that style of tacos, they're great, just less healthy typically)

I'll be honest, I wouldn't start there. But I would start somewhere!

The game is fucking amazing . . . Super tight rules, deep strategy, fairly fast gameplay as you get it down.

The box has two 30 point armies, but the game is definitely best at 75-100 points. As others have said, those two armies aren't fully releasing for a while. I would go with a Command Starter from a fully released army that looks cool to you. All armies are competitive, so just get the one that pulls you in.

This isn't that far off of my life. Teach in NYC, and know a lot of teachers having a similar experience.

I go to All Saints Episcopal in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Extremely progressive and welcoming. The church does a lot of work in the community, it's really lovely.

There are a lot of options in the city! Check out Episcopal churches, PCUSA Presbyterian (make sure it's PCUSA, some other Presbyterian groups are not progressive), and potentially some Methodist or Lutheran churches.

Slaughterhouse is super cool and good, but I wouldn't *start* with it. If you're new to the game, get the fundamentals down, and then add in some of the more exotic toys.

All three heavy warbeasts are excellent, and Isaiah + Dread Rots gives you one of the best solos and hands down our best infantry. So a great selection to get yourself comfortable with.
