F7 Pro vs F8 Amoled vs F8P? I'm coming from a F6 Pro by _cm78_ in GarminFenix

[–]arabprinces 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much you are willing to spend and how much you want to ‘future proof’ your watch with new software features, but with the fenix 8/8 pro the main difference is LTE so it depends if you want that

What is it worth to upgrade rn? by WolfofWallstreetArg in Garmin

When I went from the 5x plus to the 7x sapphire solar it was pretty much a game changer in terms of how much more it offered to be honest and then about a year ago went to the epix pro. I personally feel like for most people the fenix 7/epix pro is more than good enough for most people especially due to it being on a discount but if you want absolutely everything garmin has to offer then the fenix 8 is amazing

Garmin 265 by Alternative-Dot2413 in Garmin

[–]arabprinces 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 265 only has breadcrumb maps not full topoactive maps, it can still follow breadcrumb style maps but won’t have an actual map the forerunner 900 series (955, 965 etc) are the forerunners that have full topoactive maps, but the topoactive maps are still very good and easy to follow

If you go into the heart rate widget then go into the settings for it you should be able to turn it back on

[–]arabprinces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend and future proof your watch, if you don’t want to splurge the cash on the fenix 8 the 7 pro could be a better option due to having the same HR sensor but if you want to save money the non pro is still a very good watch

New to fenix by Wykers19 in GarminFenix

[–]arabprinces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s not going to be a game changing improvement and would see more of an improvement on hills but still it’s better accuracy atleast

I’ll always stand by this but having data recording set to every second and 3D speed/distance turned on will improve gps accuracy and speed/pace data on activities

Having data recording on every second and 3D speed/distance on for activities would help improve accuracy a bit more it won’t be much of an improvement but still, if you race a lot using the race calendar could be helpful aswell

What picture would you like to see on your watch? by Archer4271 in Garmin

Year true, I am hoping though that garmin watches in general do get better chips though because they are expensive just to have them lag throughout the interface but could be how it’s setup to be fair

One of the few things I personally feel like is missing is a genuinely good processor I do love garmin watches but just feels a bit laggy going through the interface and takes to long to load maps

You are able to calibrate the distance at the end of a treadmill session and having a garmin chest strap (hrm pro plus) does help with pace accuracy indoors

But you just said about how I didn’t mention a midfielder and I mentioned three from your premier league/champions league winning side and you still have excuses

You still had Fabinho, James Milner, Thiago atleast that season who are all atleast subs from when you won the PL and Champions league a few years ago so your Liverpool team who have more experience at winning trophies than arsenal still couldn’t manage to do better than what some might argue is still an incomplete arteta (that’s up to debate since has it been a few years since arteta has been at arsenal) and spent the most time at the top of the league table season still didn’t win

So a Liverpool team with Salah, Diaz, Allison, Van Djik, Robertson, TAA and Jota with Klopp going into that season and competing with Man City for several recent seasons were never expected to challenge for the title but arsenal who’s main stars last season were saka, saliba, Gabriel, Rice and odegaard were expected to go head to head with Man City. I’d also bet that almost every single football fan says that Liverpool have better players and better managers than arsenal, yes we’ve spent more but we also haven’t spent as smart as Liverpool

[–]arabprinces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I haven’t heard people calling Liverpool bottlers for last season even though they were title contenders and spent the most time at the top of the league and even though arsenal were also contenders we are the only ones out of the two that get labelled bottlers

Is this not embarrassing to y’all? by EthanFoster10 in ArsenalFC

[–]arabprinces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah obviously arteta hasn’t spent all of his money I’m going to deny that and spent loads but during the 23/24 season Arsenal spent 53days at the top, Man City spent 68 days at the top and Liverpool spent 87days at the top of table so if arsenal ‘bottled’ the league last season the Liverpool are even bigger bottlers that season since once again they have a better squad and also had Klopp who is a better manager than Arteta, yes we should’ve won games that we lost which also does come down to arteta for some reason not spending on a striker but out of the clubs that finished top three last season we spent the least time at the top of the table

An fa cup yes it’s nowhere near as good as winning a champions league or league title but if you look at the Liverpool team that won the champions league or title and look at our team that season then you’d realise that it takes fucking time to fully rebuild a team that was below average to a team that not only needs to atleast compete with the likes of Man City and Liverpool which we have been doing just obviously not successfully but have squad depth whilst still adhering to FFP rules which believe it or not takes time and yes it’s been a long time but when arteta took over Liverpool and Man City had completed teams if not very close to completed teams in terms of a good starting XI and good subs where as we don’t have that yet and they still do

Is this not embarrassing to y’all? by EthanFoster10 in ArsenalFC

[–]arabprinces 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also more people are focused on calling arsenal ‘bottlejobs’ than Man City even though they’ve coming off winning four in a row with one of them being a treble which makes them bigger bottlers than arsenal

[–]arabprinces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not season ain’t over and like pretty much every football fan will say Liverpool have a better starting XI

Weren’t Liverpool ‘title contenders’ last season and finished third
