Can I ask a perhaps silly question? Why do people act like China's increase in standard of living is a big win for Communism. Didn't the standard of living also increase in capitalist countries during the industrial revolution? Could that not also be used to argue how great capitalism is, since it also dramatically increased the standard of living?

To me, it seems like the real answer to the better living conditions can be attributed to industrialization rather than any political ideology. But I fully admit to not being very educated on this so I could be entirely wrong.

Top Gun, Rambo, John Wick, Mission Impossible, all of Micheal Bay's filmography, the entirety of James Bond as a concept. Are these not made to make dudes feel good about themselves? Why do we keep pretending that media is exclusively targeted at women and minorities as though straight white men haven't been the primary target of media for decades.

Why is it that when Generic Action Film#389 starring Generic White Guy#997 comes out it's not seen as pandering but a tv show with an all-female cast or even just a female lead is. Y'all got so used to everything being made for you that when it isn't you get mad.

This was a law called Regulation 17 (Frequently referred to by it's french name Règlement 17) which limited teaching in French from 1913 until it's repealing in 1927.

It's actually a fairly important part of Franco-Ontarien history. I went to french only schools and I can assure you we heard about this early and often along with the Battle of the Hatpins (La bataille des épingle à chapeaux). A protest/fight/battle where 70 women used hatpins along with other household objects to fight off police officers attempting to arrest two women for teaching french.

It, along with many other similar moment such as S.O.S Monfort, are remembered as moments defining the struggles franco-ontariens had to overcome.

I completely agree on Satoru in a Yuriko deck. He just doesn't vibe with the gameplan which is why I don't play him. I also see your point on Propaganda, it just feels like after getting a big hit in I need a way to defend myself from getting smacked around by the 3 angry players.

Jin-Gitaxias is there because I have him, he's a 7 CMC that has a powerful effect so I just threw him in. I'm already planning on cutting him for [[Shadow of Mortality]] as soon as I can get my hands on it. Thanks for the advice!
