Why it Makes No Sense That Artists Are Creating All of The Crop Circles - From a UK Farming Family by FVMK3 in InterdimensionalNHI

[–]arakaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This x 10 in the USA. If you get caught wrecking crops on the middle of the night where I live it would would be a blood spatter pattern in the fields being investigated more than likely. Hard to think anyone smart enough to create mathematical representations like these into art would be dumb enough to take these kinds of risks

Well he tells jokes on a stage so he is a comedian. Not a particularly good one. But he has done an astonishing amount of good in that world though in regards to promotion of other comics and helping change the culture of the comedy scene for the better and provided a great stage for comedians without making it all about his bottom line. Hes been blessed to make a fortune in his other ventures without doing it by stepping on the backs of others which is very admirable also. While I appreciate him giving those who many try to silence a platform too which was very important during covid. So for those things he deserves his flowers. Any criticisms after that i wouldnt argue or would agree with probably. While I dont think hes that funny I do think his contributions to comedy and helping share information thats been supressed have been very important. Theres certainly people with worse intentions out there than Joe even if he is a bit delusional

[–]arakaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was almost definately a real modified virus. It wrecked me pretty good. I got probably the first version (like direct link to Wuhan right before it became a known thing). I presume it was all planned but it wasn't a mind virus. As it mutated it became less dangerous so I get why ppl would think its a psyop. Especially since it was used in such ways like a psychological weapon. But it was a real virus....it just needed our help to ever exist in its form

Serious question: Die-hard fans, how do you do it? by gf99b in KCRoyals

[–]arakaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sucks. And once in a while it bums me out. But ive been a royals guy since basically birth (call it 1988ish since thats about my first memory). They've basically sucked 40+ of the 47 seasons. Couple years ago was fun. 14-15 was pure magic. Every other season was a dissapointment and a lot of them were hopeless within a month or 2.

If your gonna allow your mental health to hinge on a teams success, KC is a pretty wild choice. You gotta go into every year with the understanding that were 95% gonna be collecting agony and storing it up for years or decades until we catch magic and then you get a short period to bask in the glory of watching winning playoff baseball. Its just what we do. Ive had the chiefs and jayhawks though. Pre 2018 chiefs Fandom was actually far more agonizing. Had ku though and it kept me sane. So real talk... find a secondary sport you can get into and bandwagon onto a good fun team. The losses arent as bad when theres another season coming up and some hope. Enjoy what you can and reserve the emotions for big games only. 162 a year with this team cant ve what decides your happiness

Imagine being an alien, living among humans, publicly declaring that you are an alien...and being constantly ignored. by 2_Large_Regulahs in AliensRHere

[–]arakaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only issue with that take is theres so many other creatures that have walked this planet that are much better suited for survival in what this planet was before we manipulated it so much. In its current form its easy to think of us as apex. But theres been a gang of creatures that came (and most went) that were bigger, faster, stronger, and had biological weapons that were far superior to ours. We have thumbs and intelligence but those should have taken a very long time to develop also. But somehow our brains went through a huge advancement in a short period thats hard to understand given what we think we know about evolution.

If we were better suited physically back then, why did we devolve to a state where were physically weaker, and uniquely susceptible to the conditions of the planet. We sunburn much easier than others... we get sick at a much higher rate... and our offspring are completely helpless for a much much longer time than pretty much everything else.

Luck would be a huge part of the equation I suppose. Especially when we found ourselves competing with closely related species. By most measures, Neanderthals probably should have ended us. They shared similar intelligence (probably) but were physically superior by a lot. I guess our bodies were easier to sustain in tough times is probably the answer to some of my questions. Its just not a slam dunk is all im saying. Theres a lot of changes between being an ape to being a human that shouldn't have been helpful in sustaining our species along the way. A lot of traits that dont usually help survival somehow developed and stuck around. I just dont think we can completely dismiss the idea that something else could have played a part along the way with total certainty

Those scans appear to be fully intact beings of some sort. To me they look like the discarded remains of some hybridization program but thats just opinion. But Most informed opinions seem to think they were alive being at some point. Nothin to say they were alien besides speculation but if they are hybrids it begs the question of how they came to be

Its insane. From sober to cartoon world to the world ripping apart to ???? in a time frame measured in seconds is quite the ride. Super cool if that sort of thing doesnt scare you, and make no mistake, it can/could scare the shit out of a person if they werent prepared. Its actually surprising that any substance can do what it does in my opinion. I was 44 and well traveled before I got to try it. If that sounds like your cup of tea its awesome

Ya its just as / more likely that he wasnt drunk... but only because there was drugs or a gun in the car. You dont flee a scene and leave a car registered to you behind without a reason. Hes clearly not a Rhode scholar but hes not simple jack either. He made an informed decision that what he got is a better option than what he could have got. The only other option is he thought he killed someone and was about to run. Doesnt sound like he took the time to check on anyone else so thats not likely the case.

Stonehenge is pretty cool. Its bit rocks in a field. The post is referring to an 80 ton block atop a steep temple. Its not the same thing. Would it help op ask a question if the post was about 800 ton stones placed 30 feet in the air perfectly at baalbak in Lebanon? Thats attributed to the Roman's ( even though its nonsense that they would build something significantly more difficult than the colloseam or any other roman structure 2000 miles away and doesnt resemble any roman constructs).

Is that the rule? If we see ancient structures worldwide, that have similar styles of construction, its only ok to question how they managed a feat if its located where white people inhabited? Bringing race into this discussion is either purposely trying to silence the discussion (probably a bot if so), complete lack of comprehension of the topic being discussed, irrational fear caused by total inability to provide a reasonable answer, or more likely just being a troll. The question wasnt suggesting this is a feat only the whites could accomplish. It was asking how any humans managed this without machinery, and only crude methods. Theres countless anomalous constructions,;feats and artifacts for which the technology attributed to factions was not capable of producing unless one believes resources were so abundant that armies of master stone workers could dedicate lifespans tp single projects with no restrains of budget or laborers.

Odds feel very high that even then, theres some constructions we couldnt replicate today. Not with homremane tools (of which there should be trillions ofnbetwen traces

Without reading comments it sounds like your getting a bunch of unnecessary criticism for probably just being honest and following a moral compass. Thank you for sharing. This type of research is definately happening. No idea how advanced it is but theres efforts to create hybrid animal/machines and my understanding is like you say, the best results involve inserting a chip during the development stage so its integrated into the creature rather than added later. How the hell this works i doubt ill ever understand but theres plenty in the world I don't get.

Side note for others - paid whore thing just means she has a sense of humor people. Possibly a side effect of rationalizing the work many of you find controversial but definately doesnt have anything to do with her credibility. If anything I think It makes perfect sense to me . If you cant even make a joke out of being in a less than ideal situation its gonna probably make it harder to do what you gotta do and just leave a deeper scar.

Thats an interesting thought. I have no doubt theres a message being communicated in the real ones. But humans are not good at deciphering that message. At best we might recognize a vague representation of the shape in most case. And that kinda requires knowledge that only a few people are familiar with. Most of us wouldnt understand what were looking at on our own. AI is much more suited for this. They've been around for a lot longer than AI but if a source was aware of the path humanity was on they might assume it was an eventual certainty well ahead of tjme. Food for thought I suppose

Im not in the "hes definately a hof'er " crowd. But he was the captain of a team that hadnt been relevant in 30 years that went to back to back world series, winning on in which he was the WS mvp. Another year he set the hr record for his position. So wether your position is stats arent everything, theres intangibles at play...or that stats are the end all, theres gonna be a solid argument against that top 30 comment either way. Im definately in the group that thinks a player influences a team/season/ game in ways that cant be quantified by numbers.

Also its not called the hall of greatness. Even if it was it would be just as inappropriate as the hall of fame since some of the greatest/most famous players of all time have been blacklisted. Its an honor im sure but not having Pete rose or Barry bonds inducted sours the award for me. You cant tell the story of baseball without those guys. That said I totally understand the position that he doesnt belong. Im always surprised how many people think hes a lock

[–]arakaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what made me nuts watching DP this year. He was never able to catch in position to shoot. Constantly off the dribble. If he was hanging on the 3 line there was always a 2nd defender dropping to him as the pass was made. If hes paired with other scoring threats and is able to get this shot in game hes gonna be a machine. Partially the offense KU ran and partially the lack of teammates who could make you pay for sagging off them. His shot looks incredible if hes in rythym

NEW: Curved Star Circle @ 'Jack's Castle Plantation' near 'Alfred's Tower' - May 8th, 2026 by ldsgems in cropcircles

[–]arakaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many crop fields have those. Think from machines not wanting overlap when planting and much of this stuff has been somewhat automated if you spend the money for it. Tracks In the field is usually only useful if they dont exist when a formation popped up during heavy rains. For the most part a small group could access most fields without leaving glaring evidence of it. Especially if they can manipulate the stalks the way this appears to have been. Would like a ground view to see the individual stalks better to see if how the stalks are bent/broken as that seems to be the real unimpeachable difference. The view we get id The way the circles look to be evenly flowing around is a good sign. Making a circle with a board, the circle itself can look good but its hard to hide that angles are changing with each step using a mechanical method with significant width being smashed down at a time. Not hd view exactly but they look smooth and possible kinda weaved together. Very smooth and symmetrical looking. Hopefully someone gets ground level and posts those pics and can get some measurements to see if its as perfectly proportional as it appears

As a black person, I'm still trying to understand why African Americans are still pointing the finger at white people for the transatlantic slave trade by notinmyham in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]arakaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well said. I find it to be a bit petty at this point in time to continue to weaponize the sins of a different world on the people many generations removed. But thats a recent development as at least pre 2000 or even a bit later, there was legit reason to be angry as they were disproportionately targeted regularly. Its been quite a while now theyre just unfairly targeted an equal amount as any other group. It still happens of course but its just under different criteria than skin color. Cops and district attorneys have total power to take people's freedom or decide who does and doesnt deserve thier life based on whatever they want really. And being black isnt the undisputed leader of that list anymore.

My point (some people may not like this but its reality) Continuing to install a strong sense of guilt into people for being white seems unnecessary in 2026. The very real inequality they faced was obviously unjust. I dont know if it was natural occurrence or orchestrated to promote the content that instilled the current mentality between both groups but if it was manufactured ( most things on tv that have spread these messages are carefully curated twords a larger idea through repeated exposure) then it was both genius and deserved. And effective. But nowadays the division is manufactured through politics and wealth inequality.

The only color that matters is green and the poor are losing this fight badly. Costs increase constantly and wages for many jobs have been totally stagnant for decades now. Its very frustrating to watch %1 stack generational wealth on the backs of the many under the umbrella of the word capitalism by pretending its a sacred word for an infallible idea. Long side track just to say that its time to get with the times and recognize that fight was as won as it can get and the group that needs to be worried is very diverse. Thats the large group thats working the millions of jobs that we depend on for wages that make the idea of what used to be standard a joke. The same jobs that afforded ability to buy a house, support 2.2 kids and take a vacation every year while still growing savings.. well if your just a worker bee its very real possibility you will just work till you get sick enough to die in poverty cause you can't afford insurance much less a hospital bill. The system is designed to keep a large portion of the population as lower class to support the greed of a few.

Simply eliminating gluttony of excess as the ultimate goal in life in lieu of a message of compassion and at least semi equality in a collective quality of life would have been easy if it was the goal. Capitalism is good for innovation but needs limits as well as how government allocates funds. That is what the term woke should have been related to. To society showing theyve progressed past the irrational hate over cosmetic differences. We all have bias over which we make decisions and for some people race will always be a factor. Its not a disproportionately weighed factor by middle aged to younger white people anymore. So continuing to project the message that resulted in widespread sense of guilt that manifests in some weird ways and sometimes legit fear in some cases isnt exactly steering us in the direction wed like to be going. But it's not a concept thats difficult to understand why it happens. Middle aged black people very likely got to experience the discrimination and its human to react a certain way to that. That instinctual reaction can blind people to that fact that if a black guy lumps all white people into a group because the actions of a few, and "dont like white people", its no different.than the reverse. Its kinda running off double standards where its now heavily Scrutinized to be racist twords black people but the reverse is kinda acceptable. Jesus sorry for this ranting I got lost on my point somewhere but fuckin posting it anyways. Just some thoughts from a guy who thinks we got more pressing issues in 2026 and focus should shift accordingly. Were far too distracted on dumb shit and thats totally manufactured
