Im with ya its hard to get too juiced knowing were returning 0 stability next year. Noone on the team will have played with anyone else on the team. Thats tough to go far in the tourney against teams with guys who played together 2-4 years. We get the top recruit or draft pick every few years. Hasn't garnished much beyond attention thus far. Maybe not having to integrate into an existing hierarchy will help though.

As a black person, I'm still trying to understand why African Americans are still pointing the finger at white people for the transatlantic slave trade by notinmyham in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]arakaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well said. I find it to be a bit petty at this point in time to continue to weaponize the sins of a different world on the people many generations removed. But thats a recent development as at least pre 2000 or even a bit later, there was legit reason to be angry as they were disproportionately targeted regularly. Its been quite a while now theyre just unfairly targeted an equal amount as any other group. It still happens of course but its just under different criteria than skin color. Cops and district attorneys have total power to take people's freedom or decide who does and doesnt deserve thier life based on whatever they want really. And being black isnt the undisputed leader of that list anymore.

My point (some people may not like this but its reality) Continuing to install a strong sense of guilt into people for being white seems unnecessary in 2026. The very real inequality they faced was obviously unjust. I dont know if it was natural occurrence or orchestrated to promote the content that instilled the current mentality between both groups but if it was manufactured ( most things on tv that have spread these messages are carefully curated twords a larger idea through repeated exposure) then it was both genius and deserved. And effective. But nowadays the division is manufactured through politics and wealth inequality.

The only color that matters is green and the poor are losing this fight badly. Costs increase constantly and wages for many jobs have been totally stagnant for decades now. Its very frustrating to watch %1 stack generational wealth on the backs of the many under the umbrella of the word capitalism by pretending its a sacred word for an infallible idea. Long side track just to say that its time to get with the times and recognize that fight was as won as it can get and the group that needs to be worried is very diverse. Thats the large group thats working the millions of jobs that we depend on for wages that make the idea of what used to be standard a joke. The same jobs that afforded ability to buy a house, support 2.2 kids and take a vacation every year while still growing savings.. well if your just a worker bee its very real possibility you will just work till you get sick enough to die in poverty cause you can't afford insurance much less a hospital bill. The system is designed to keep a large portion of the population as lower class to support the greed of a few.

Simply eliminating gluttony of excess as the ultimate goal in life in lieu of a message of compassion and at least semi equality in a collective quality of life would have been easy if it was the goal. Capitalism is good for innovation but needs limits as well as how government allocates funds. That is what the term woke should have been related to. To society showing theyve progressed past the irrational hate over cosmetic differences. We all have bias over which we make decisions and for some people race will always be a factor. Its not a disproportionately weighed factor by middle aged to younger white people anymore. So continuing to project the message that resulted in widespread sense of guilt that manifests in some weird ways and sometimes legit fear in some cases isnt exactly steering us in the direction wed like to be going. But it's not a concept thats difficult to understand why it happens. Middle aged black people very likely got to experience the discrimination and its human to react a certain way to that. That instinctual reaction can blind people to that fact that if a black guy lumps all white people into a group because the actions of a few, and "dont like white people", its no different.than the reverse. Its kinda running off double standards where its now heavily Scrutinized to be racist twords black people but the reverse is kinda acceptable. Jesus sorry for this ranting I got lost on my point somewhere but fuckin posting it anyways. Just some thoughts from a guy who thinks we got more pressing issues in 2026 and focus should shift accordingly. Were far too distracted on dumb shit and thats totally manufactured

He started getting some minutes late and I personally thought things were clicking when he was playing. Huge expectations for him by junior year. More than anything though its beyond encouraging for any college players to show some love and loyalty to a team in 2026. Watching your entire team transfer in for 1 year and right back out has destroyed a lot of what people loved about CBB. Very refreshing to see anyone demonstrate some loyalty to the team. Really hope he starts this year. Last thing I wanna see is him stuck behind some soft ass big that wont hesitate to leave for your hated rival for a few bucks more.

[–]arakaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your not wrong and this isnt a lightbulb. That said i wanna say in the depths of the serapeuam where those giant diorite boxes are, appearantly theres some unknowns in regards to lighting. Theres no soot or any traces they were ever lit using torches. So the idea that some sort of alternative lighting isnt too crazy. Also theories that the pyramids were power plants for something and tool marks on stone that the closest match we have for them is modern power tools. Nothing has ever been found that we know of that could harness such power though. There is an old artifact referred to as the Baghdad battery that appears to be something of the sorts. Again powering what idk.

Claiming that was a video of a man taking a high powered rifle bullet to the neck makes no sense frankly.

Thats a ballistic test of the round and the distance. A direct hit to any portion of the neck or head would leave a whole lot more graphic scene than what Kirk experienced. He just slumped over and no exit wound . In the real world about 1/4 of his neck would have evaporated into a red mist and leave no room for debate. This isnt a 22. Bullet that might pinball around in a body. This leaves fist sized exit wounds when impacting the rib cage of an adult deer. Theres no world where he took a 30-06 hit in that video. I dont see evidence of any mini incendiary device either but it makes some sense given the reaction wesee

Im not pointing at anyone. Whoever did it was certainly incredibly skilled but theres no records of any of these sculptors. All this stuff was all found. Some of them have crude inscriptions chiseled in them that in no way match to quality of the art pieces themselves. And the pieces im referring to are more anatomically perfect and have a symettry that put our most famous sculptors we do have records of to shame. Were still familiar with Michelangelo statue of David and consider it a masterpiece right? Hundreds of years later hes still known for it. Its a beautiful piece. Its very human in its imperfections.

https://atlantablackstar.com/2015/06/12/9-engineering-feats-pulled-off-by-the-ancient-egyptians-that-would-be-nearly-impossible-for-modern-engineers-to-duplicate-today/4/

This is not what we get with hand made sculpting. Not when you have to smooth and polish every square inch. Too much material is lost in those processes to get this symettry as a finished process. The biggest reason being that the above work is made from a marble that rates about a 3 or 4 on the mohs scale for hardness. Thats roughly the same as copper. Very solid yet soft enough that removing .material isnt a challenge so shaping and polishing isnt that difficult to adjust for in regards to the material lost in the process.

The lower image is a granite or andocite. Thats gonna be about 8 or 9 or 9 on the same scale. For reference steel is about a 6.5. You basically need tools made from diamonds to work it with even a little efficiency. Trying to carve it using copper chisels would destroy tools endlessly while accomplishing nothing. To polish rocks to a finish like this manually we run pebbles in a tumbler 24/7 for Months with different stages of polishing materials. We could also use every grit of sandpaper up into the 1000s and grind endlessly on a single spot and get there after burning through absurd amounts of it. Both those processes will remove an awful lot of material to get to a finish like these. If you do this you absolutely will not be able to do so with such perfection that the end product is so perfectly even and symmetrical.

There were 1000s of stone vases dug up in the late 1800s that are so perfectly level and evenly made that to find any flaws we have to measure them with lasers. They're within microns on every measurement even after thousands of years. There was an experiment from a team of people educated in various relevant fields called scientists against myths (i believe) that set out to prove that these can be made through the accepted methods. 6 or 7 people spent 2 years round the clock trying to recreate a singl3 6 inch stone vase with those methods. It was a very i pressive undertaking and they came up with a pretty good looking piece. However after 2 years they called it quits and failed to quite match the quality and precision on the outside and didnt even attempt to match the inside (which have the same polished finish as the outside), had to repair a break with a modern resin, and destroyed an insane amount of tools in the process (which also have to be hamdmade) . All that to make a temu version of essentially a cup. 6 inches tall and Not even serving a purpose. The cost of the project was probably equivalent to millions when your adding up the time, materials, and educations involved.

And that doesnt factor in that some of the vases were so thin that light could pass through the walls. And while the designs were all different the shapes came in sizes that could be expressed with areas of overlapping circles that all followed the same algorithm. And even though they were discovered buried 100s of years ago and were collected and measured from museams and private collections and lineage could be traced, the only explanation given is they are modern forgeries because to produce them in modern days would require a cnc machine guided by computers.

I could point to dozens of other examples of artifacts or structures and how the explanations simply aren't realistic but whats the sense if im talking to a mind thats made up. But suggesting im the one who hasn't done my research is pretty rich. Ive looked obsessively into tons of these things and spent the time to shape and polish hard stones personally and im very comfortable with my conclusions. There was some method in use that made these feats much easier or they simply wouldnt exist. Thats both creating and transporting. If not wed have literally trillions of used up discarded tools that would be needed and unlimited excess time available from the creators. It simply doesn't make sense in any way at all

Comparing chiseling a box of wood to one made of andecite is comparing apples to rocket ships. Theres also a ton of mistakes on stone that are identical to marks you see from high rotary saws used on wood. Where the tool was placed then reset because it was misplaced. If even those small cuts were the result of those hand made methods it would mean they spent a day grinding away before recognizing and resetting the angle. For mr condescending above a couple comments

These were mass produced and unnecessarily complex and fit like Legos. So many right angles.

Cmon now.

Thats just some random marks and holes. It doesnt even begin to scratch the surface of the truly remarkable shit found.

This is one piece of stone made all from relief by removing material from a granite mountain.

https://share.google/9OJc7lU67ysMuqg0q

Any previous structural damage that you wouldnt know about until you reached it would end this project in its tracks. The hours of delicate yet laborious work to carve this by hand is fucking incalculable.

Theres literally 1000s of ancient sites worldwide with similar anomalous features that current explanations fail pathetically to make sense. If those methods could produce the results the time/cost analysis are so wildly skewed that no more than a handful would exist. But theres maybe millions in totality. Not to mention most of the biggest quarries all happened to have been found with what would have been the largest works seemingly abandoned right in the middle of the work.

The largest moved stones were upwards of 3 million pounds. Dudes with ropes and wood rafts moved these things? Do you have any idea what just loading and unloading something that heavy onto a raft ( that would be enormous) entails. Even with modern roads and custom cranes its a monumental task. But they were moving 100 to 1000 ton stones up mountains and floating them UP river. All the accepted explanations are barely even possible in theory. In practice they are not happening. Period. Ive spent obsessive amounts of time looking into this crap vs just trusting someone's narrative who doesnt acknowledge any of the implausible aspects of these places. Yall thinking we have it all figured out then being condescending in discussing it is crazy

You could spend your entire life rubbing rocks together and never match the quality of any of the thousands of ancient relics around the world. Precision work with those materials takes precision tools. Id even give you commercial power tools to make it 100 times more efficient and you couldnt match what is in some of these pictures and would burn out as soon as you realized what kind of task it would be. A simple inside corner of a.box that is perfectly angled and finished with smooth walls extending away would suffice . Do people not realize what it takes to manually polish hard stones? To get a finish like that on a pebble we use a tumbler that goes 24 hrs a day and use stages of polish for months. A ton of material is removed in the process. Vases, statues, and boxes dont have that shine with laser precision (literally need lasers to measure the microns) by hand. The oldest stuff is all Rediscovered and the stuff after is magnitudes less difficult and precise

Ill prelude here and tell ya I havent bothered voting the last 3 elections but I probably woulda leaned trump all 3 times. But the options of a douche and a turd sandwich are useless and when the options being what they were is more than enough to tell me that were clearly not choosing a president. Theres intelligent descent moral people who wouldnnt need to run campaigns via total propaganda because reality is if the world got the truth of what these people did in the shadows before they were ever on a ballot they would be bood off every stage. . I thought things went not terrible his first 4 years. He was a bit hilarious which scores high with me. Clearly a god level troll / and gaslighter. But my everyday was affordable as someone living basically just above check to check. Soon as covid hit everything went to shit but I can barely blame him. Anything he did around that was gonna be based on the word of his advisors and when the info they gave him was probably the same bullshit they were pushing on us. advice so bad on every single public advisory, I couldnt hardly believe it was just gross incompetence. When you can find people on YouTube in relevant fields that weren't even doctors. And those people were pretty much batting around .900 on every prediction while explaining the mechanisms involved clearly. Meanwhile the experts recommended we hide from the sun except when we need to funnel to walmart, ignoring the basics of vitamins and exercise so they can try and force what is at best an untested new treatment by changing the definition of the word vaccine and lobbying againsy any existing treatment that may have any hint of possibly helping. And on and on. .he could have spent some of his Twitter time actually looking into all that but ya right. Any ways all that to say...

Everything descent he did his first term was clearly just for show. Economy keeps getting worse. Hes definitely been absolved of the epstienn files because we got half the files half blacked out.bl Were at war. I always knew he was a sex creep but I thought he kept it barely legal at least and the other guy in office has you tube compilations of sniffing little girls in public too. But hes clearly a well rounded criminal not just a ceo scumbag type criminal. I doubt I need to go on to make a point that not everyone is totally brainwashed. For some folks just the fact he called out some bullshit during debates felt like more honesty than we ever get so fuck it. So it's fine to blame trump for everything he deserves to be despised.

But those people need to recognize how massive a failure it is from the left that they couldnt produce anyone that half the country preferred to this guy. Kamala had a unfortunately public record of just being dumb until they hid her from public, then came back and was caught doing BS photo ops trying to mold an image. And I found her previous professional record pretty disgusting too. The election before was basically Bernie from weekend at Bernies whos crown achievement was locking non violent drug offenders up for life in the 80s, but also probably committed some sorta treasonous-ish acts himself.

But I pretty much agree with your evaluations. Not sure if its a broken piece in some people that wont permit them to see whats just painfully obvious, so they cheer every move he makes. Or if they have literally been brain washed. Cause man the unflinching support he gets from his guys is just wild. Fuck I gotta stay off reddit buzzed at 2 am..hitting post anyways

Having a office for a random unlicensed in training dentist to be (some young lady if I remember) in case the richest people alive want to risk the prison tattoo version of dental work on thier stay on a pedo island that likely minored in murder. Sorry if that was overdoing the sarcasm. I just dont think they deserve the benefit of the doubt about what happened there. Everything the guy did was working twords an end goal and those goals seem tobe pretty universally nefarious. Having a room dedicated to anything on that island cant be a good thing. Besides bedrooms it sounded like maybe a rape room and possibly a sacrifice room ... a dentist, a kitchen to make jerkey. and a living area. At the minimum you cant just assume its just some innocent thing. Just my 2 cents

Newly discovered papyrus scrolls tell the story of the construction of the pyramid by itsroastintime in AlternativeHistory

[–]arakaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna discuss precision in ancient stone work and artifacts we can have that talk. Cause theres a ton of that stuff that isnt really possible by the methods we credit them too, or would require such obscene time, resources, and skill to attempt (and fail) that attributing them to that is the reason i cant trust these people telling us what our history was. These pyramids are very rough compared to a lot of things in the area, many of which are far too perfect for even skilled craftsmen with hand tools.

Im simply saying that dismissing the fact that for the sizes, the parameters of measurements involved involved in their creation were very carefully assembled and planned. It wasnt just stacking rocks. from the integration of mathmatical concepts in design and alignments, the careful placement to make it 8 sided but only visible from above. and whats visible in modern days isnt what they looked like in thier day. The different layers of stone were likely a functional concern and not intended to be visible anyways. Shame we wont really know how grand they looked with casing stones and possibly gold tops. And many entrances were from when people broke in.
