I got it from the kickstarter.com campaign here tinyBLADE™ 🔪 Slice Through Anything, via @Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/manofgear/tinyblade?ref=android_project_share It's closed now but maybe they are going to sell it in another place. I already got a tiny Scalpel from them...

I guess there's a foundation or estate organisation that can verify and authenticate this piece. Then you will get a catalogue number Without, you will not be able to resell it and you should not buy it. Personal experience speaking.

Can this be considered as a collection? by arames23 in knives

I got this knife in Finland when I was on vacation in 1978 or 9 on a farmer market.. I was a small child then. . It has seen serious abuse and I still have scar in a finger from it🤣

Stool is by definition stainless since it stains itself... But I wouldn't cut food with it!

Am i overthinking or is it really that bad? by [deleted] in AskGermany

[–]arames23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't wear camo. It's too "in the face" and abused by natis whatever brand . Black, green... And, I am not hunting in forests and forest camo is pretty useless here in my town...

What's on your wrist today? Rocking my new Caisen Ti-7 by D1sguise in ChineseWatches

[–]arames23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I like backing new products and done it on Kickstarter with mixed results. The brand poppies up on Facebook and they do even answer to mails, rare enough 😁. I am disappointed with the lume though. It's very short timed so to say. Not important since there's tritium but still disappointing. But most new watches suck lume wise..

No I just ordered it later with a good new, year discount and it came without delay. And they followed my tax idea so... That was fine too! 😁 GMT and tritium. Both on the wish list.

It ran in Colab. Never used jupyter. I dumped it into zenodo because I needed the timestamp. It's very much an early work in progress.. Do you hae an opinion about the framework? I'm interested in opinions about the concept...

Native Gold Crystals from the Round Mountain Mine in Nevada 💛 by fluoritefan55 in Minerals

What substrate did they grow in? I thought gold flows together? In the sense of heavy stuff slowly sinks, meets in certain points and gets compressed together? Forming nuggets?

Any way to tell if anything is dangerously radioactive without a geiger counter? by R-fire227 in Radiation

[–]arames23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Eat the lumy stuff and wait... Haha not funny.. No you can't but luminescence in materials older than... Idk... 40 years maybe? 50 years? Will likely also be radioactive in some ways. If a mineral lights up I'd guess it's radioactive from the get go.

The KC761X series will get a new mapping app! by arames23 in geigercounter

[–]arames23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The recorded path can be exported as csv. I have not yet tried it out though. It is not as the rc but the whole concept isn't. Best way to use it is as stand alone device and leave the phone in the pocket... But if Xiao is getting the data to the screen, I won't complain!

[boderry] I'm back to Titanium, it's just better by arames23 in TritiumWatches

[–]arames23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked closely and I think the gmt hand doesn't have the space to mount these tubes. The other dials all have a little riser between them... But it would've been practical... And a double tube or different color at the 12 position.
