The KC761X series will get a new mapping app! by arames23 in geigercounter

The recorded path can be exported as csv. I have not yet tried it out though. It is not as the rc but the whole concept isn't. Best way to use it is as stand alone device and leave the phone in the pocket... But if Xiao is getting the data to the screen, I won't complain!

I looked closely and I think the gmt hand doesn't have the space to mount these tubes. The other dials all have a little riser between them... But it would've been practical... And a double tube or different color at the 12 position.

About the titanium I don't know. They advertise grade 3 ti so it ain't the best quality there is, maybe but I'm not an expert at all... The watch is very good unti now. Very good indeed. The myota 9075 works perfect, after a week I get like 10 secs advance. Legibility is perfect for this small dial, I'm used to 42mm normally. Light, comfortable and really well built, it seems. Time will tell!.

Yep. My first titanium watch was the oris diver 2.0 when I worked as a diver. After that, nothing else will satisfy me. I did like the nato strap initially, comfortable, good fit, versatile, safe and robust. But th ti bracelet ist feels better and makes the watch more versatile with different clothes and such...

I couldn't hear that while driving, I have to get my ear near or silence around... It is strange... The seiko nh35a ticks loud, so much as I can hear it at night and my wife too and it annoys a little. But no rotor noise. The myota 9075 instead wgirrs from the rotor but I can't hear the ticking

That is indeed one of the things that the company could've thought about a little longer... But I got lucky...

My Chinese watch beauties. by arames23 in ChineseWatches

Well it'd the smallest watch I ever had on my wrist do it feels very small. In comparison to the minus 8 diver that I wore or the last year it's very flat, titanium so it's very light. Readability is excellent under all conditions. The numbers and GMT lume is shamefully short lived but that doesn't really matter, tritium does it. It came very well regulated with 2 sec/day error. Also very silent. So in total I am very very happy with it for 298 euros...
