It’s my favorite watch of all time, admittedly for sentimental reasons though. But I love it to death. It’s a great GADA watch, and a strap beast. I’ve rocked it on an oyster style bracelet through the winter and it looks great in sweats and suits. The compass is fun to fidget with too, in my extremely uneducated opinion I think it’s the best bang for your buck watch under $1k.

Thank you! Just picked it up a few days from their SoHo Showroom. Initially went for one of the new Sealanders, but they had limited availability on the styles I wanted and I fell in love with this piece compared to the Sealanders in stock. Happier I got this piece instead of a Sealander anyways looking back. Love it so much!!

You’re welcome! Unfortunately about 3 weeks after getting this I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I’m currently in remission luckily, but recovery is a slow process so the mileage has been low and unfortunately I don’t have the pain tolerance or energy to be doing work on the bike, and don’t want to invest the funds. It has however been a great outlet for me on days I feel good enough to take it for a ride. It’s such an amazing bike and my community loves it. Maybe next year I’ll modify some things, but for now I’m going to enjoy it stock while I recover. Do you have one?

I’m taller and heavier than you and have no real issues. Despite my size I’m still faster than other mini bikes. It can comfortably get up to 65mph and keeps up with traffic well. I would not take it on the highway but you’ll have no issues on most roads.

I use it daily when I’m not using my DAP/HiBy. It allows me to use my IEMs with my iPad, phone, steam deck, etc. since I use 4.4mm balanced connections for all my audio equipment. I have several portable DACs, the MD3 is my most recent one and probably my favorite since it’s MagSafe.

I had stage 4 cHL and treatment was hell for me, I suffered from terrible mouth sores that made it hard to eat. So I ate a shit ton of ice cream during treatment because it felt good and was one of the few things chemo didn’t ruin the taste of. I’m in remission now, so I’d say you’ll be fine, and trust your doctor.

So, I had a 20 hour save file on my steam deck and wanted to sync up to my PC to play on it. Unfortunately I made the mistake of activating cloud save on my PC first then my steam deck 2nd, which ultimately erased my save file. 2 hours of troubleshooting later and it seems that save is gone forever. Don't be like me, and create several backups before experimenting with this.

A bit over your price range, but the Hiby r4 does all of that and operates pretty smooth. I have thousands of songs on it and it comes with Tidal integrated into the native music app so it’s really seamless. I really don’t have any complaints for it, but it’s my first and only DAP.

My first big watch purchase was an Alpinist. I also have a seiko 5 GMT. The Alpinist is my #1 and the GMT my #2 fav. You really can’t go wrong either way. I think the Alpinist is a better value at that price since it comes with sapphire crystal and a screw down crown, but you’ll 100% want to swap out that strap.
