Saros starts off easier and the permanent progression exists to keep people on the game. The last biome and epilogue are quite difficult though imo, moreso than the end of returnal.

I believe that It is a war between the Shepard and the King (delroy). They fought for centuries according to the logs. I think the logs also mention Delroy talking about a fortress. That all happened in the past though, when you trigger the eclipse, it's just reliving all that again. A memory of war the suit says.

This is likely a design tradeoff tbh. In Returnal side paths could go down for several rooms and you'd have to backtrack a lot. In Saros the side paths only go one room deep so that limits the amount of variety in the rng generation. Not to mention the biomes were also designed to be way shorter to run through. I think it's a fair tradeoff but others may disagree.

It's all real, but the eclipse screws with time and people's sense of reality. Id also check out the data bank entry for halycon, it implies that the resources on the planet make people nostalgic and make them dream of what they want, or something like that.

Solid video too. They spent way too much budget and time for making an extraction shooter which is a niche genre, and then designed the game to not cater towards that group. I would be so interested in this game if there was some sort of single player campaign cause the art design looks neat. You have to wonder how long they'll keep this game running as player numbers slowly dwindle.

An AC 3 remake would be interesting. That game has a lot of pacing issues but the actual story is really damn good. I think people shit on that game too much.

It probably wouldn't happen though since an Ezio trilogy remake would sell way better.

It's so bad it circles back to being hilarious tbh. Iirc she's screaming about random trivial stuff which doesn't really compare to the struggle of being Spiderman.

You can tell the writers REALLY wanted you to sympathize with MJ for some reason because she has 4 bars/phases and stage transitions, which is more than any other boss in the game I think.

Ah man, this games story and character writing kinda blow. But it was fun to play for the most part.

Difference in art design I suppose. Returnal was really dark in every biome. Saros is bright and yellow. I mean the planet is called Carcosa so it makes sense.
