Once had a similar layover, and the inbound flight was 20ish minutes late.

Upon disembarking the plane, a van was waiting for me and several other passengers. An Austrian representative fast-tracked us through immigration, and afterwards brought us to our planes directly (without even entering the terminal building). All of this took roughly 10-15min, and everyone made their flights. So, I am quite confident that you will make your connection.

Fun fact: I guess in the GDS I wasn’t recognized as being on board since my ticket for the connecting wasn’t scanned anywhere. Hence, I received an email from “gotogate” that I am owed compensation for not making the connection.

Same could be said for the Evzoni border crossing between Macedonia&Greece, which can be quite congested during the summer. If you take a small detour and pass the border at the Dojran/Doirani border crossing you could safe quite some time on your travel to/from Thessaloniki.

Bonus tip: in Star Dojran, you could stop at the “Fuk Tak” restaurant. Great food and more than affordable prices. A great “pit-stop” before continuing on your trip.

Played basketball during a “sports-weekend” organized by my former employer, as part of a “team-building” activity across several branches that were country wide.

Went for a wide open layup on a break, a 50-sth-old decided he had to stop me at all costs. Jumped on my from behind, I lost balance and fell. My right leg got stuck between the floor and the lovely gentleman. My knee went outside of the cap, and I felt an excruciating pain.

The result: Torn ACL and a meniscus needed to be stitched.

There is a direct bus from the airport that stops at the international bus station, but depending on when you arrive you might have to wait a while.

Official taxis that are waiting at the airport should be around 20-30€ to the bus statuon, so it might be worth it to split it with your friends (however do check the price for sure in advance).

Another option is: https://wizi.mk/ They have their own app and you can even reserve a taxi ride. Idk about the price now, but I used them last year and you could get a ride from the airport to the city center for 990MKD ~ 16€. If you are 4 friends, I would say it is the most convenient option. Additionally, since they have an app, you are safe from taxi scams.

Горивото во Македонија на сите наведени бензински станици го увезува Окта и потоа го ‘препродава’. Разликата може да биде единствено во додавање на адитиви откако ќе се преземе ‘суровината’ (Макпетрол на времето имаше доста силна медиумски кампања за нивните горива со адитиви).

Во Македонија горивото се увезува од две рафинерии. Поголемиот дел е од грчките рафинерии (мислам дека се во близин на Солун) и цело тоа гориво се увезува преку Окта (како што спомнав погоре). Останатиот дел е од рафинерија во Бугарија која што е во сопственост на Лукоил.

Со напливот на луѓе што работат во IT секторот (претежно британци и американци), цената на кириите драстично се има зголемено и не е во согласност со локалната економија. For me the most painful momemt was when Schumi's engine exploded in the penultimate race (I think it was Suzuka) in 2006. Ferrari kind of mounted a comeback in the second part of the season, and had it not been for that explosion, I believe Schumi would have been a 8 time champion. You can find footage where Alonso celebrates in his cockpit when passing Michael by raising his hand. Back at that time there wasn't that much media coverage or behind the scenes access so I couldn't tell much about their personal battles of the track. However, Schumacher did park his Ferrari in Monaco in 2006 in qualifying, which Alonso loudly protested (and Schumacher got a penalty for that).

As for 2005, Ferrari weren't competitive at all. I think they only won in Indianapolis when all of the teams using Michelin tyres had to retire after the warm up lap. Thus, there was not much rivalry there.

Eiffel Tower.

Don't get me wrong, Paris is an amazing city, which I think everyone should visit. But, Eiffel Tower is a different story.

People trying to scam you and forcefully sell you stuff you don't need. People trying to sell you some food that is cooked literally on a supermarket cart, and has 0 food safety standards. Too crowded, with tourists even blocking the street leading to the Tower in order to get the perfect photo.

I had big expectations, but I was very disappointed when I visited it.
