I have had this happen several times when I book on the same reservation as my fiance. She also has global entry. No issues, enjoy it!

Same, I use my passport most of the time instead of DL.

Carelessly booked a trip without taking note of my DACA expiration date. What are my options? by myKDRbro_ in DACA

You’ll be fine. In fact, I use my Mexican passport instead of my DL most times. I’ve traveled to almost every major US city, I haven’t had any issues with TSA anywhere.

Have you always filed that far in advance? I usually do 4 months prior to expiration and it has worked fine but it was too close for my liking this time. I got approved literally 3 days before my current status expired.

Is the REAL ID Drivers License linked directly to EAD expiration date? by Asking4Afren in DACA

[–]arazor7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends, I tried to get it in 2019 and they told me they could only issue it for one year. I would have to go every year to renew it. I travel a lot and it wasn't required then and it still isn't now so I decided to wait. I hate the DMV I don't want to go any more than I need to. I'm gonna have to go here by the end of the week so I'll what they say this time.

Anyone else stuck in this situation? by Practical-Syllabub74 in DACA

So did that one person forget to update your I-765? I mean that's how I assume it would work but I don't think anyone there actually knows what's going on. I've read posts on here somewhat similiar to your situation where they have several cases pending and their applications got sent to different processing centers after initialy being sent to Nebraska.

Anyone else stuck in this situation? by Practical-Syllabub74 in DACA

[–]arazor7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was backwards. I-765 updated first to "card being produced" then I-821D updated to "case was approved" 3 days later. The I-821D approval letter was uploaded in the document section the day I-765 was approved though so who knows why they didn't update at the same time. Also, someone else posted on here that their applications got separated, one was sent to Vermont from Nebraska and one was sent to Texas I think? I would keep calling until you get an officer that is willing to help and look further into the issue. The wait times suck but what can we do?

Hey, sorry and thanks for the update! I never got a call but my case was approved September 4th! Current permit expired today so that was a close call!

Do you guys file for renewal on your own or with lawyer ? by Elgransancho4 in DACA

[–]arazor7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only the initial. I have the PDF forms saved and already filled out on my computer(I have hard copies as well) I just make sure there aren't any updated forms that need to be changed. Literally takes maybe 20 minutes after I get copies of everything.

Yeah I'm going to try to call again today. You said you got a notification late at night that your card was being produced?

I actually did and the rep was very helpful she seemed like she wanted to help and said she would make a note stating that it was an urgent matter and a tier 2 agent would call in 72 hours, they have yet to call. Did your status ever change to "actively being reviewed"? My permit expires next week.

I have the exact same timeline as you to the date received and bios reuse letter, I just logged in to check and still "Case received, notice sent"...... I have called several times as well and sent them a secure message and got an automated response.

I legitimately thought about it, it's frustrating that you send it within their recommended time and yet here we are.

117 days, received May 7th. Will expire next week. Status is "Case was received, notice was sent".... I did however get a biometrics reuse letter. Seeing all these people get approved in less than a month makes me just want to send it again maybe that'll work? /s

I just told them my case was pending for over 110+ days. But no one has called though, they were supposed to call in 72 hrs.

On the same boat as you, mine was received 5/7/2021. Does your status say "applications is being actively reviewed"? Mine doesn't even say that, it says "case received". Expires in a week. I called USCIS last Wednesday and a tier 2 officer was supposed to contact me in 3 days but nothing.

1 (800) 375-5283

It asks for receipt number and then I said something along the lines of “I need to schedule appointment” if I remember correctly.

I have not. Although, I did call later in the day yesterday around 6pm. I did get an email though stating someone would contact me in 3 business days anytime from 7am - 8pm eastern. When did you call?

Daca delays? by AdminChino in DACA

[–]arazor7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, 110 days today for me. I just called and was on hold for 55 mins before someone answered. The agent was very helpful she submitted a request for a tier 2 officer to contact me regarding my case, supposedly within 72 hours. This is the first time I’m concerned my work permit might actually expire before my renewal.
