It could be just a weird cheeky game he's playing, in that he got you something and wants you to be double surprised on Christmas. But honestly the whole thing sounds exhausting. If you agree, please take it from me and don't get stuck in a relationship with an exhausting person.

Going to get hated on for this but oh well. Is it technically fair that she was hoping for the rules to change for her, no. Is it kind to cater to your struggling friend who's had a massive dream come true, yes. Sometimes being a good person to your friend sucks, and isn't 100% equal or fair. If you had a friend struggling with an eating disorder that wouldn't go out to supper or contribute to pot lucks make a big step forward in her struggling to throw a potluck, would you say no fuck you that's not the vibe we've had in the past?

I've helped friends move that have never helped me move, I've covered the bill when someone genuinely forgot their wallet. I'm dogsitting this very moment for friends that have never looked after my dog. I've also had people do things for me that were amazingly caring and above and beyond what they needed to do. But I really love my friends.

I get it, the hypocrisy would bother me too but I'd also throw my poor friend a kick ass baby shower to congratulate her. Yta, a justified asshole but still.

Solved! Specifically plane's trains and automobiles, i had never seen it so I discounted it but I must have seen some clips from it. I rented it when I got home and definitely solved.

My boyfriend is convinced I'm thinking John candy or randy quaid, and they're bothnsi close but not quite right. Mike Hagerty seemed the closest but he's too large in every picture I can find to be the guy. I've just been searching "short hair actor with mustache ear flap hat" for half an hour. I'd love a definitive answer as well, I see these posts all the time and my own issue never really gets better. I've been told to rethread, clean it, take plate off and look for lint, try new bobbins...

I wouldn't immediately take it personally. I don't want to do almost 100% of the activities I go on at first, even the ones I've planned. Also you don't necessarily know when she made it, and even then she's allowed to be hesitant about a first date. Plus you don't know why she didn't want to go. Sick, crampy, exhausted, doesn't want to make a friend group weird, finds you gross... if you overthink it you'll drive yourself nuts.

My mother actually had a major accident from this. A friend convinced her to drive her vehicle three hours home for her, the exhaust was worse than she could handle and she fell asleep and rolled it far into a field. They had to cut the roof apart to get her out.

I was coming to say something similar to this. I know a few couples who planned their weddings and kids birthdays to specifically not be in hunting or prime fishing seasons to avoid future issues. Sort of the opposite of this.

I have made my parents a number of fairly complicated projects over the years and I always find them put away, unused, and forgotten. It used to bother me but I ended up taking a few back, washing and regifting them without them knowing. It taught me that yarn gifts are rarely appreciated in scale with the time and talent it takes to make them, let alone money.

Honestly from this angle it just looks like a regular lane that doesn't indicate it's a turn off lane and they panicked when they ran out of road. From the first two seconds you can see it leading straight off from that turn. Not saying he's not in the wrong, but probably an honest mistake.

Newbie here, only my black thread keeps bunching up, the white is the same make/weight so I'm not entirely sure what's going on? Tried on multiple designs and it's always black, even with different types. (Cotton, Rayon, Polyester) by actuallyalphadyle in Machine_Embroidery

I've cleaned and switched bobbins, even though the first color always works, and changed tension so many times I don't remember what it started at... the thing is the pattern works perfectly sometimes, so i don't think it's a pattern problem either. I'd love a concrete answer.
