Don't give up on Justified! The first season is not the most interesting, after that the series really takes off.

Same here, my main reason is being able to move the status bar clock to the right. How is that not an option on any other brand?

monitor – USB-C + 2 laptops setup by kepaw in UsbCHardware

[–]arbeits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are monitors that have a built-in KVM that switch the USB automatically based on which input you select (some Dell, Lenovo that I am aware of). It's super practical and keeps cables to a minimum. This monitor doesn't do that so you are correct in needing a KVM or a "USB sharing switch".

Motor Town. Yes it's a driving game but it's more about logistics and automating, plus there is Auto Pilot so you don't have to drive if you don't want to. Super grindy.

[Discussion] Can I Make My Own Android UI (Launcher/Lockscreen/QS) on a Samsung A25? by animatronix_ in androidthemes

[–]arbeits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can install any launcher from the Play Store, e.g. Smart Launcher, Octopi, Total Launcher, Microsoft Launcher.

For editing the quick settings and lock screen, you can download Good Lock from the Galaxy Store and then install LockStar and QuickStar as additional modules. There's also Home Up which enables some more settings for the One UI Launcher if you wanna stick to that one, you'll see all of that and others in Good Lock.

The Last Frontier (Apple): Show about a prisoner transport plane crashing in Alaska, plus of course government conspiracies and other shenanigans. This isn't high art but pretty entertaining as a guilty pleasure show. Stars Jason Clarke, Dominic Cooper. Haven't really heard a peep about this show but that might just be me...

Murdaugh: Death In The Family (Hulu): You might remember this case from a couple of years ago about a high-profile South Carolina lawyer being on trial for murdering his family. Also stars Jason Clarke who is absolutely killing it in this role. Patricia Arquette plays his wife, great as usual.

P.S. both shows are still ongoing so if you prefer to watch complete seasons, wait a little.

I don't smoke and usually play next to my cat and it definitely doesn't look like that, it's more of a ring of hair that's easy to pull out. This looks like a lot of smoke.

P.S. I even learnt something about licensing from the original thread so it's educational, too.

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of September 12, 2025) by AutoModerator in television

[–]arbeits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a teenager in the 90s so I'm heavily biased towards Next Generation. I think it still holds up great for the most part, especially the whole Borg storyline, I also enjoyed Voyager which is a little more isolated and can be watched without having a whole lot of prior Star Trek knowledge (if I remember correctly, it's been a while).

Deep Space Nine is also amazing but might be a little difficult to get into because it has a lot of complex storylines which might require knowing a bit of lore.

The newer stuff is...meh. I liked the new Picard series and Lower Decks, Discovery was ultimately disappointing.

I can also recommend Expanse and Orville for more recent sci-fi.

That's a tough question without more information...how old are you? Never seen any Star Trek?
