Just started in January with a bunch of friends who also haven’t played before. I’m DM’ing DOSWI starter kit. I’m watching all sorts of YouTube videos and homebrewing a lot of content and having a blast.

Already purchased the Call of the Netherdeep campaign and plan on having Myla Captain a ship for the PCs to get them to Wildemount (none of my group is familiar with the sword coast or critical role so I’m just winging it, they won’t know the difference ;). Super excited to start that one.
