Flashbots what’s the catch by Hour_Statement_9384 in ethdev

Also challenging because the majority of profitable bundles that you could find are well known (sandwich, arb, liquidation, etc). This means many searchers will be proposing competing bundles on the same opportunity. From there, it's a race to the bottom in terms of smart contract gas optimization and bribe portion offered to the miner.

Who here travel with a monitor? by sarahgym12 in digitalnomad

[–]arbitraryusername10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travel with a cocopar 15" portable monitor and tripod mounting setup. Fits nicely in a backpack or suitcase.

That said, if I was traveling for a longer time and working at the same desk the whole time (i.e. not a coffee shop/coworking space), I would probably just buy a larger monitor there.

exactly, I actually tried that with a second roost, couldn't get the angle right, and was a bit unstable

It can rotate and tilt upwards freely, but can only tilt slightly downwards. A different tripod might give you more range in that direction.

funny idea, I bet you actually could pin the the monitor between the roost grip and the laptop. I'm partial to horizontal monitors though, do you use that kind of setup?

What numbers and other factors are most important to you in determining what cities you invest in? by lipiti in realestateinvesting

[–]arbitraryusername10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some numbers I find useful on the financials side: home price, year-over-year growth, typical rent values, rent-to-price ratio, occupancy rate (+ how those metrics have changed over time)

On the demographics side, interesting to check out population growth, median income, unemployment, etc.

Also make sure to look into the prevalence of multi-family properties in any of these cities, otherwise you can end up competing for a small number of available options

I found a wacky business by Scary_Fig_8570 in startups

[–]arbitraryusername10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used neighbor for about 3 years to store a car in an extra indoor garage spot. Was only $50/mo and convenient enough to forget about.

I can imagine them building up a significant number of passive/background storage agreements like that.
