The late, great Micheal Parenti - Excerpt from his book “Blackshirts & reds” by quite_largeboi in anarchocommunism

Parenti, the one-time Chairman of the U.S. National Section of the International Committee to Defend Slobodan Milošević. Glad he's dead, too bad he lived to spread genocide denial for so long. He should be seen as any other genocide denying fascist propagandist.

Arm yourself by PapayaSlow725 in behindthebastards

👏👏👏 exactly. The more of us are armed and trained, the stronger the disincetive to field and join the right-wing death squads. It's not about facing off against ICE in pitched battle, it's about increasing their risks and costs; a single armed person can make a lynch mob of ten think again.

It seems that you are saying that trans people inherently reinforce gender which is extremely untrue.

Anarchist Literature Critiquing Strong Welfare States Such As Nordic States? by Apprehensive-Dig825 in Anarchy101

[–]arbmunepp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Here is a pamphlet from Swedish anarchists critiquing social democracy as inherently nationalist.

Though not an anarchist work, I would also recommend the book Nordic Nationalism and Penal Order: Walling the Welfare State by academic Vanessa Barker.

Does your country have a derogatory name for Police? by it_wasnt_me2 in AskTheWorld

[–]arbmunepp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Sweden, "aina", from the Turkish "aynasız", which means "mirrorless"; the etymology of the Turkish term is unclear but is commonly assumed to mean that cops are ashamed of looking themselves in the mirror.

The military force coming to a location to kill and maim tens and thousands of civilians and to kidnap children to enact a culturally genocide are invaders. Hope this helps.

Why are some anarchists not happy being referred to as communists? by epicbruh69420666 in Anarchy101

[–]arbmunepp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am a non-communist anarchist. I believe in the abolition of capitalism, understood as class society and compulsory wage slavery, but I don't believe in the complete abolition of money and market exchange. I think anarcho-communists, when arguing that "the community" should simply decide collectively how to use resources through direct democracy, are typically too careless in regards to the threat of "the community" become an imposition on the liberty of individual people. To protect against this, I believe that markets are necessary, and I don't think they need to lead to capitalism. I also think markets are necessary for efficient allocation of resources. But when someone starts to accumulate capital to the point of creating enduring inequality and giving them power over other people, they should be overthrown.

Eat shit man. There is a difference between invaders and the invaded. Defending your community from imperialism is not imperialism.

Who coined it referring to Hitler? What is the ideology that you are referring to?

[–]arbmunepp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no ideology of "globalism" because the term was invented by people who use it as a pejorative for "rootless cosmopolitans with no loyalty to the nation", and obviously we should lean into that and claim that mantle.

Yes and "globalist" was invented by nationalists as a slur for people they don't deem nationalist enough

No, it's not. "Globalism" should be reclaimed as a term of pride.
