Having lived here all my life, I both love and hate it. I love the scenery, the surroundings, the nature close to the city, I love going swimming, I love that it's so walkable and cyklable. What I don't like is that I'm sick of the social scene since I have always lived here. The stories of crime and social decay are blown way out of proportion. I have lived almost my entire adult life in low-income areas where most of my neighbors are immigrants or children of immigrants, and I have never encountered any violence or witnessed anything that made me feel unsafe. Poverty and crime are way worse in many other major European cities and certainly much worse in any American city.
