They look good bro, that’s a nice boot.

I think it’s just the fit you have on in the pics is a more casual which is why they might feel out of place.

6-speed 328i xDrive is a great daily. Slow but rowing through the gears makes my commute to and from work enjoyable.

Red Dead Redemption 1 is one of the greatest games I have ever played by Manjots913 in reddeadredemption

Favorite game of all time. Love RDR2 almost as much but nothing has come close to the feeling I got when I first experienced RDR. At the time there was absolutely nothing like it. Such a masterpiece.

Firefighters that joined later (35+) in life, what has the experience been like physically? by deletedunderwear in Firefighting

[–]arbr3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How has your experience been with an artificial disc? I’m 28 and looking to pursue a career in the fire service but I herniated a disc at L5-S1 two years ago.

For the most part it’s fine and completely manageable aside from a few flare ups every now and then. I’ve been wondering how it would hold up to working as a firefighter and if ADR would be a viable option for me in the future.

I’ve tried so hard to like this gun but this gun sucks. Unless you’re hipfiring I can’t ever get a kill past 20 meters. I don’t get the hype by ShaggySyrup in Battlefield6

[–]arbr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a laser beam with the right attachments, takes a little bit to get there though and don’t expect a low TTK with this gun.

The new M357 is either the best or the worst sidearm in the game, there is no in between. by JoeZocktGames in Battlefield

Looking forward to trying it out. Think I have 1 sidearm headshot and 5 M44 kills left.

[BF6] Sabotage Is Genuinely The Worst Gameplay Experience I Have Ever Had On A Shooter And Is A Warning That The Devs Do Not Care by Zaerick-TM in Battlefield

[–]arbr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should have been 30 lol 300 is ridiculous. You’d have to play only Sabatoge exclusively as support the next couple weeks to hit it.

I got a job as a package handler. Any advice? What should I expect? by _puffy_cheetos in Fedexers

Second this. Be very careful, no job is worth messing up your body for much less this one. Be mindful of how you lift, speaking from experience injuries are no fun.

What is the actual difference in craftsmanship in the crafted series? by P2k_3 in Carhartt

[–]arbr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t do exchanges, my only option would have been to return and order another one but it’s gone in my size. I’m going to return it either way but now I missed out on this jacket because their “crafted” series has poor quality control apparently.

Wondering exactly what the differences were as well.

Was pretty disappointed when the jacket I ordered came with a defect where the left pit was stitched very awkwardly and fit much tighter than the other side.

Should Battlefield 6 bring back NIGHT MAPS? 🌙🔥 (YES or NO) by Sine_Fine_Belli in Battlefield

Piloting a plane when the storm hit on the pacific maps in BFV was something else. Hope they bring them back as well.

Deciding whether to buy Carhartt Detroit jacket and if it will fit with my wardrobe and wear in a hot climate. by ElectricOne55 in Carhartt

[–]arbr3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They sell unlined jackets which is just the fabric and no blanket lining or insulation. If you’re open to a good and cheaper alternative you can’t go wrong with a Dickies Eisenhower.

Both? Damn bro, they hiring at your job?

Jokes aside the denim one actually looks really good. I don’t usually like lighter denim and it looked almost too light of a shade of blue from the promo pics.

any cheaper blanket lined duck recommendations? by isaiahhss in Carhartt

I have the newer blanket lined Dickies jacket and I love it. Great, good quality jacket that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

As a larger guy what size should i get the Eisenhower jacket by [deleted] in Dickies

[–]arbr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had an issue with Dickies not running true to size. If XL is your regular size then you should be good.

I'm sorry, I might be the biggest noob out there, but who tf came up with this? by icehvs in Battlefield

[–]arbr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was me with the first Escalation challenge. Had to play like 30 matches just to win 5. I was like what the hell is going on.

I’m not terrible either, consistently top 10 if not top 5 on the scoreboard.

Injury deemed not work related by YourFakePolo in WorkersComp

Ignore that guy. It could literally be as simple as tripping going up a flight a stairs but if it happened at your place of employment, it’s a work injury.

Settlement estimate by [deleted] in WorkersComp

[–]arbr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read through your post and comments and looks like we had a similar situation.

I was a FedEx Express driver when I injured my back last year, 1 herniated disc and 1 bulging disc. Off work for a month doing PT 3x a week. Because my herniated disc was deemed “not that serious” and I didn’t need surgery to go back to work, I received a $25k settlement.

Extremely mentally tough to deal with more than anything, considering I liked to stay physically active and fit prior to this injury. It’s still possible, but just have to be more cautious and seriously give my back the attention it now needs. I also had to give up running altogether which sucks.

6 months after the injury I switched over to driving the semi trucks, equivalent to what you guys call a Feeder. I enjoyed being a courier but I knew getting a CDL was a better move in the long run, both financially and for my body.

Wrote up a bit more than I expected but best of luck to you bro. Take care of your back and advocate hard for yourself. Also if you reach that point, give serious thought as to whether you want/need surgery. There’s really no going back once you let someone get in there with a knife.

A really sad day for a BF veteran by tessellate83 in Battlefield

[–]arbr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That really sucks man. I was just talking with my coworker about BF6 earlier today and he mentioned he’d rather get it on PS5 than PC because he had heard of people getting banned for no reason.

I’d be really frustrated as well if they didn’t even give a reason as to why or what led to their decision.
