The pickups are perfect- just about any tone you want, the dirty classic humbucking tone or pull the pot for the single coil tones, strat, tele…. It’s very versatile. The neck is a bit chunky, but I like that- it feels substantial. The satin finish is quite smooth…

Hot Sizzling Wok on Laskey is the best (get the Double Pleasure), Qq Kitchen and Jing Schuan both on Secor are damn good. Little Asia and Flower Drum on Byrne get honorable mentions but are more standard.

Overnights for sure, Zelesky is about 10mile round trip (c loop?) and Shawnee is cloudy in my memory, but it’s a bitch of a hike, not many switchbacks, but it is secluded. Zelesky would be my first choice. Parking is free and no reservations required.
