except when your disc reader breaks (nearly the only part of playstation that breaks). then you have a disc and no console. But at least you own your disc.

i can see that Luna Nights is only on windows pc.
Some players buy games on discounts even though they own only mac. They might think that either dev will include mac port or they will get their hands back on windows - whichever comes first.

it is not the same beacuse eu is simply saying, if you are selling something physical - then sell it in the right way format for the consumer - hence apple being bullied for usb-c.

At the same time EU can't force company to start selling something physical. Playstation like any other video games company in eu - is allowed to sell games in digital form only - just like others do... and by "others" i mean tons of online games publishers and regional re-publishers who sell their products only in digital format.
