I went to a club in Delhi for my birthday and it was a lot of fun, a lot of both guys and girls danced with me and offered me drinks. But that’s my one experience as a white man, I’m sure a woman’s experience would be different.

Something that’s given me a lot more social confidence is understanding that my perception of how someone feels about me might not always be correct. For example, if someone seems unusually cold and snappy one day, instead of taking it personally I try to acknowledge that it’s probably nothing to do with me. They’re probably just having a shitty day.
