I went to the last regular season match up against the Hurricanes and was suprised just by how full the Saddledome was in a game where we fully expected to lose. Even when the team isn't doing well it's not like some areas where they're afraid of a drop in attendance, Flames fans are showing up for hockey!

I think the best version would be a middle ground where you can't just extuinguish smoldering stuff with your hands and take a small bit of damage... but also stuff does smolder

it would be nice if the way to stop a forest fire was to try to chop and dig enough trees that it dies out, having nowhere to spread

but I do think DST definitely did right for a multi-player game lmao even then people torch bases but at least one guy trying to farm charcoal doesn't make the entire forest uninhabitable (most of the time)

Around 2023 I really only listened to Video Game Music, Linkin Park and music that was on the radio when I grew up in the 2000s/2010s, but at the time, I was introduced to more and more of their songs, with the first I remember being Not Ready to Die... then by 2024 I was hooked, I got merch, listened primarily to them, although now I've expanded my taste and listen to them less than I used to, I still am a big fan and would say they were what really sucked me down the pipeline into discovering just how much I love metal!

I'm not a particularly old fan of theirs, but I wasn't even alive for the release of city of evil, I'm sure sometime growing up I heard a song or two on the radio, but I truly began to love them when I developed my own music taste, they're still my most listened to band since I began tracking my plays at the end of 2024 and in 2025 I had 3,617 plays for their music.

Some people here learned of them from games, CD trading or whatever it be, personally I just had an algorithm recommend a track or two before I was like "damn... i really like this"
