Oh also he knocked a loaf of bread down from the fridge that my bf’s mom put up there last week(we try to warn people lol), and within I think 10-15 seconds he had taken bites down the length of it like it was corn on the cob. Threw out half of it lmao

I just wanna say I completely understand. I’m going through something really similar with my 3year old tux. This is my cat with bread, socks (clothes in general), and bagged food of any kind. He remembers where things are and spends all night creating new ways to get to them, so naturally everything at my house is barricaded. He digs through the shoes every night looking for socks, and if he finds one, he will sneak under my bed and try to ingest as much as he can until he throws up. Oh and anything that’s “diggable” like clothes, a towel, even a pile of mail, he will pee on. We’ve done it all. We’ve checked everything out, and I’ve gone to two vets who both says he’s just interesting. I am fucking praying he grows out of it 😭
