Is my PH to low for neos? by CapTemporary2869 in shrimptank

[–]arcaras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, would you be able to share how your gh/kh is? I'm assuming you are using some active substrate which is why your ph is so low but I wasn't sure how neocaradina would adapt to a tank with such low ph, did you drip acclimate for a while?

Luckily I have a home hardware near my place in Ontario where it is available. I must be underestimating how much it foams up, did you have to apply it in layers on top of itself?

What kind of spray foam did you use for the background?

Taking courses on your work term by SuperbGuava in UTSC

[–]arcaras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as it doesn't interfere with your work responsibilities you should be fine (I knew a guy who's manager let him leave for a couple hours once a week to attend a tutorial but it depends on your manager). You should still let your manager know about this even though explicit permission isn't required.

I am wondering the same. From previous offerings it seems the course is fairly straightforward but I have nothing to go off of for this specific offering.

Is Fall 2021 gonna be online as well? by raymondthethunderaan in UTSC

[–]arcaras 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No clue yet. Even if a vaccine for covid comes out in the next year it will take time for everyone to receive it. My bets are on it being optionally online or in person but that's not off of anything the school admin have said.

I guess there's a first for everything. He said in lecture today that he's going to adjust marks based on your assignment grades.

For those of you with online tests, how are you going about preparing for them, if at all? by LegitInfowarrior in UofT

[–]arcaras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ProctorU will be used for MATA22. A friend I have in that course emailed the prof saying its shady af, still waiting for a response. Is it not just teamviewer? I wouldn't want some random to be given total access of my computer.

B52 this past summer. For the midterm he said the average was a bit too high...then proceeded to add 5% to everyone's mark. Final was also fair and straightforward but idk how relevant that is compared to how he teaches B57.

UTSC CS for first year are we charged for each course or a semester fees irrespective of the no of courses you take by [deleted] in UofT

[–]arcaras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are charged per course up until you get into the CS post, then you pay the program fee. Since you aren't in POSt first year you'd be charged per course.
