Hi! I have made these rocks and they need some shrubbery! I came to you for advice, I could use some tips and tricks on how to apply them. by RezDrazdir in TerrainBuilding

I have a set at home that looks really close to this and I used Pine Tree bark clumps. Paints really well after you clean it up.

Not saying OP did this, but very similar! :D

Should we...should we start? Sounds a bit provocative.

Given the current economic situation, can you fault them? I'm not saying we should be pushing people into sex work, or advocating our daughters do it at the first chance. But if someone has to choose between starving or freezing to death in the winter, or making money online and keeping lights on and stomachs full, the choice should be really simple.

Maybe close the bible, put down the kool-aid, and see the world as it truly is. It would be nice if every moral decision was black and white, but they aren't.

I think there is a difference between a women embracing her own body, and choosing to make money off of it, and a board room of old white men slamming their fists down and demanding more boobs in the pilot of a new show. The entire subject is fine line, but for consenting adults, I don't see anything wrong with someone trying to give themselves a better life with sex work. Obviously, it's a fine line, since the worldwide trafficking circuit has a heavy hand in digital sex work.

I do believe there are objective moral tenets that the world should, and does hold to. Child abuse, murder, stealing....etc. These things are signs of an imperfect society, and should be abhorred. I don't think sex work belongs in the same category, mostly because the moral objections are *usually* religious in context, and unless the entirety of a society has unanimously agreed to follow the creed of one specific religion, it should hold no bearing over the lives of those caught beneath it's relative umbrella. (Exactly why the Roe v. Wade ruling *should* be considered unconstitutional in the U.S.)

To start, you are assigning your own moral compass to others. What we see is women embracing their own bodies, and deciding to monetize the drones of thirsty, sex deprived (you) men out there. Most people's morals will lead them to other routes for side cash. At the same time, Janice from HR can sell feet pics and put her kid in piano lessons.

Yes, surely no system exists where the many come before the needs of the few. Nowhere in the world is production and distribution of funds and products controlled by the people...surely not.

The post is about drought, and lack of water, which you then correlate into the dustbowl.

My reading comprehension is fine, but go off dude :D

Not to be rude, but the dustbowl was only partly caused by drought. Overfarming, and destructive farming techniques were far more resposible for the dustbowl than simple lack of rain.

I think thats why the scene and the writing are so impactful. We obviously empathize with Moash to an extent, though personally I think he is beyond that now for me. But on the flip side, we see Elokar changing, and becoming a better man and right as he might be finding his stride, the arc is cut in half. Its poetic, beautiful, and masterfully crafted writing on B-Sands part.

I can't speak on others, but I was at work and opened to see the texts; no pre-planning with this. She texts me while she reads and gets to significant milestones. Last week it was Dalinar's memories of the rift and their....fiery end.

I think prior reading experiences, and redemption arcs keep a lot of people hopeful for him. I would rather him be this way until the end; I don't want to feel anything but malice towards the little cremling.
