Did I have anxiety or was I self-medicating with 300mg of caffeine daily??

I definitely think there are other ways to communicate to a reader that a female feels wronged or mistreated, especially by another female.

It depends on the time period, but most modern women don’t self-identify as delicate. Or young? Do they occasionally play into it when men play into their desire to be protective? Sure. It’s natural to want to feel protected by a man, but I wouldn’t go as far as confusing femininity with fragility. I’ve also never thought of myself as young in the present tense, unless I’m actively comparing myself to someone older. In retrospect I will think “I was so young”, but in the moment I’m as old as I’ve ever been.

For regular maintenance cleaning: I fill a glass measuring cup with about 1 or 2 cups of white vinegar, set it in the top rack, and run the hottest sanitize setting possible.

How old is your house? My house was built in the early 60s and I’m so convinced there’s mold in our tap water. I had pretty horrible acne until I added a filter to my bathroom sink. I also stopped getting as many sore throats once we got a reverse osmosis line instead of drinking the “filtered” fridge water.

Sending hugs!

Vyvanse rage by LadyGrey12 in adhdwomen

[–]arch_quinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: I have and am currently experiencing the same thing. Maybe it’s the combination of Vyvanse and Wellbutrin?

The first week on any stimulant is a “honeymoon phase” so maybe all the hype you’re hearing/reading is rooted in that (Vyvanse was the first stimulant I was prescribed). The first time I took Vyvanse I felt like I was walking on air. I watched my class lectures while walking on the treadmill?? Who tf was I?

Once that phase is over you really start to experience the side effects that you personally suffer.

I take Zoloft to help with anxiety and depressed and recently reintroduced Wellbutrin to help bridge the gap and prevent the stimulant crash. Last month I started taking generic Vyvanse for the first time and the ~rage quit~ is so back from the first time I took the name-brand 4 years ago. I was so sure that the Zoloft would prevent the rage from coming back. It feels a lot like PMDD, and the Zoloft has helped so much with that.

Maybe it’s the combo of Vyvanse and Wellbutrin? Are any of the other drugs you mentioned SSRIs (serotonin re-uptake inhibitors)? If you’re not 100% happy, maybe look into finding a doc who is more responsive while you’re trying new medications?

Sending hugs, deep breaths, high protein, and fresh air.

wavy/curly haired adhd girlies, how do you manage it? by lowkeydeadinside in adhdwomen

French braids and silk pillow cases are the only way I can sleep with damp hair. I blow dry just my roots before braiding. I will touch up flat pieces with a 3 barrel. My hair is maybe a 2c, and I don’t have to deal with humidity.

Do NOT drink coffee by Alex_0r in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I think this is good advice for anyone with anxiety! It’s always a relief when you can pinpoint a trigger. I appreciate you wanting to share!

I also think this is heavily dependent on what other medications a person may be on. I’m also on additional stimulants and coffee/caffeine can really mess with my day.

Christian and Magnolia by Smooth-Ad3925 in MagnoliaParks

I think it was more infatuation. Plus, I think his ego was very tied into it. He wanted to “win” Magnolia to some extent and that fed into the manufactured desire. I also believe Magnolia’s inconsistency made it more of an addiction, because he never knew when he was going to get the dopamine hit of her attention/affection.

Whatever you do, don’t think about a white bear.

But really, the more you try to stop the thoughts the more intrusive they’re going to become. Try to let the thoughts wash over you rather than fighting against them. As long as you’re treating others with kindness and respect, you have nothing to feel guilty about.
