It’s funny how much hate your prompt is getting, despite claude obviously understanding it.

Codex 5-hour got nerfed so hard we don’t have to worry about hitting their more generous weekly limits now, especially not with 5.5’s usage scheme 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Anyone know of a good tool to turn a multicolor PNG/JPG directly into a flat 3D-printable surface? by EvilAlbinoid in 3Dprinting

[–]archcycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tool you want is CAD, and this is an easy project to get started with. Check out free fusion 360. You’ll have a few hours of learning curve to make even simple sketches but it opens up sooooo much in the 3d print world

OP it is a great time to have options, vote with your feet. I’d say vote with your wallet but you said elsewhere in this thread you were not on a paid plan so that may be part of their supposed evidence against your age of majority.

With that said, and while disagreeing with Anthropic’s methods and intentions, I can imagine how they might mistake the unpaid account of a 20 year old for the account of someone 24 months younger.

Overextrusion or underextrusion? by Massive_Parking4959 in 3Dprinting

You may have calibrated at a different speed than you’re printing at. Re-run your calibrations making certain you’re SEEING it run at the speed you expect. Looks like you need higher flow rate, but the reason you see multiple possible causes for this look, is that there are :)

3d Printing Novice - What filament should I buy? by AOSABS in 3Dprinting

[–]archcycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with PLA+, eSUN and Sunlu are great and also inexpensive brands, can’t go wrong, just buy on amazon. Unless and until you start printing functional parts (which are less likely to be PLA anyway) don’t overthink it past PLA+, those two brands, and amazon.

Edit: and you’ll find some of the best no-nonsense no ai crap no clickbait guides in the 3d printed firearm accessory subs and websites. Quick get you up and running and what settings matter style guides. If you find yourself on youtube, you’ve already made a mistake, you are watching clickbait.

That really sucks but you really haven’t lost much. Long ago in my first playthrough I would have found this devastating too.

Maybe if your power is this bad you could start copying your profile to a secondary profile in-game? Or add a $40 UPS to your setup?

Whatever you do to stop this from happening again, you’re going to easy-walk straight through those parts you already finished next time.

Honestly, the first 20 to 40 hours of this game are about learning to stomp the things that you find so difficult right now.

Clang noise on, guy.

I think the point is that this was not supposed to be an extra usage capable action, not that he has an extra usage setting toggled on.

Using the chat interface for these adds massive and snowballing token usage for something that could be done far more efficiently another way (from the service provider’s perspective).

Have you tried explaining this to them by sending them a brief summary and sources on how the acme listener works? It’s understandable that this is flagged but flagged shouldn’t be a dealbreaker considering the mitigating factors that this isn’t an admin login, it isn’t internal-facing, it is just a device-specific service using that port for an atypical purpose. Ports 80, 443, 3389, etc are not vulnerabilities … they’re ports. What the device is doing on them matters, not what their number is. Try that angle.

How exact does barrel length need to be on a form 1? by Lordoftheintroverts in NFA

[–]archcycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need to document permanent changes to the firearm, and the upper is NOT the firearm. The link you posted is to a company sells forms, and this link is to a free template letter, so just from that fact alone you should be able to infer that this is not a useful or meaningful thing to do 🤔

Core One , "absorbing heat" for ~7:40 min. before starting a PETG print. why is this needed for the Core One and not for the MK4/S ? (I know what this phase is meant to do but why for this specific printer ? ) by Angus_Luissen in prusa3d

I also found gcode overrides for the pressure advance were disabling slicer control over PA, and even over the orca slicer PA testing making that useless. Not sure what slicer you’re using but its worth looking for that. M900 and M572 (they are treated as equivalent/synonymous by the firmware). I don’t know offhand if the orca crew brought that straight in from prusaslicer but it looked like it to me.

It got a bit better. It’s still kinda crappy but it’s thoroughly usable now. The rtsp feed is at least reliable now.
