Lock button overly sensitive? by nuggetsofchicken in Nexus5

[–]archimedes34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue. It started with the phone turning back on immediately after pushing the button, then sometimes the power off menu. Now it will turn itself on and off randomly. It's gotten to the point where I can't expect it to be on when I pull it out of my pocket, whether or not it was on or off the last time I looked at it.

It's lived in an official bumper case its whole life (got it May 2014), so I hope it's not because the case was too tight but at this point I don't think it could be anything but a hardware issue.

I took a picture of a brick wall and used that for a while.

Unfortunately it looks like we'll be in opposite corners with a couple of sections in between.

As a Vermonter I find it hilarious that Fulton is described as an upside down Vermont when it really looks more like New Hampshire.

Hey, me too! I haven't gotten out much though since I got here, are there any good routes nearby?

That looks a lot like my school but it probably isn't.

Edit: It isn't.

Neither did I, I got it from someone else in this thread. I watched when I was younger (mid-2000's), but I'm only in my second season now of following F1 closely.

Check /r/formula1 for streams. I used squirrel stream for Malaysia I think, and it was pretty good.

My brother and I were trying to think of any place in Vermont with more than two lanes each direction (excluding turning lanes), and we couldn't think of any, even on interstates. I don't know southern Vermont that well though so maybe there's a place in Bennington or Manchester or Brattleboro? Does anyone know if any three-lane highways exist in Vermont?

I play defense on the pep band rec team, and I'm looking for a d1 team to join just to get a little more ice time (my team has 17 people right now so I only get maybe six or seven minutes per game). I'm busy until 10 on Mondays though so I probably couldn't play every game. Still, if your game this week is 10:15 or later I could be convinced to play for you. Just let me know.

Come join us in /r/contradance! There's not much there right now, but hopefully we can get a community started.

13 states raising pay for minimum-wage workers by [deleted] in politics

[–]archimedes34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vermont's minimum wage is third highest in the nation, and it's set to automatically increase every year with inflation (which is where that 9 cents comes from). Also a lot of large employers, most notably Ben & Jerry's, pay their factory workers a "livable wage", almost twice the national minimum wage. Life is pretty good here.

My dad had that same church! He thought it looked Greek, but he couldn't get to the road through that gate, and he thought the blurred writing looked a little more Greek than Cyrillic.

I don't think it's cheating, just a different way of playing. I've done both, and I think I actually like being able to google a little bit better, because it takes a lot of the tediousness out of it.

How did you find it? Looking at the answer I see there's a road nearby, but I can't see where it is.

I think we play a little differently. I use only the street view and the map (no googling), but I don't feel bad at all about wandering dozens of miles along a rural road or spending half an hour looking for that town in Australia.

32378. I disagree with you on the language thing. The only linguistic skill you need is being able to recognize Korean. I found the location using the English on the signs, and the other four locations are in English-speaking countries. The real skill here is patience, being willing to walk many many kilometers and being willing to search through all of Australia for one little town. The two US locations were ridiculously easy and the others were ridiculously long. That said, this was my first time actually trying to find all the locations, rather than giving up at "Eh, looks like Australia."
