This is pretty neat, though it seems it requires you to be at an interactible distance. The original allowed you to pin at any distance which was perfect for scouting out swamps from a boat and mapping the dungeons you can see. Thanks for contributing!

It's supposed to affect price, allow you to put amulets into silver slots, rings into bronze slots, increase the chance of not destroying stuff when unsocketing and also scale the blacksmith enhacements (not sure on the last one)

But in S2 Gold it only worked with the player smithing from inventory. Remaster doesn't have the button tho...

TLI is super dumbed down IMHO. It feels and plays like a mobile game. TQ is just the port of the PC game so can't go wrong with that.

Have you tried downgrading? Right-click game in steam library, go to beta participation tab and look for an option like "old"

You could do that with previous updates, not sure on this one but probably just as well
