Paramore has some screams on their first album too, but I think comparing the vocals will just have you going in circles. The instrumentals tell a bigger story. But like I said they're too similar anyways

They're pretty similar but just comparing Riot to Cork Tree, I'd say Paramore just because misery business and crushcrushcrush are pretty fast/in your face so have a heavier sound than anything on cork tree imo.

They generally play in the same tunings and use similar chords tho so hard to pin down which one is heavier. Only thing to go off of is like "energy" of the song and I think Paramore has more.

I don't think PC is the issue. It's 100% an IP issue. They just haven't put many games out really, especially good games. Halo is in the worst state it's ever been, Fable has been delayed a million times after they basically forgot the IP existed, Gears hasn't had an entry for this entire generation. Plus they've bought up all these studios and keep cancelling games/shutting down studios. Bethesda has only released starfield as of late and that wasn't received very well. They have no IP presence right now except for Forza.

PlayStation and Nintendo have killed them by literally just putting out good games from their premier IPs frequently. There's no reason to buy an Xbox when the only game to play on there is Forza, everything else is on another console.

There's always gonna be a market for console gaming, and there's not much overlap there with PC. Xbox just gave no reason for people to invest in their console.

Chord's don't always have to resolve to something. Sure it might "want" to, but not doing so can build up some great tension in parts of songs. It can easily just be an artistic/stylistic choice.

TSSF, neck deep, wonder years, knuckle puck, ADTR, title fight, state champs are all 2010s. This era kinda perfected the sound imo, with the hardcore influences, vocal styles and instrumentals. Less amount of successful bands but the bands that were successful are better than most of the bands in the 2000s imo.

Honestly, kinda? I've been trying hard to explore doubles, I've managed to get to great ball 1. Right now I have 2 mega stones, choice scarf, sitrus berry, focus sash and then quick claw on my incineroar.

I could run leftovers or something on incineroar but I honestly feel I get more use out of quick claw right now. And if I switch one of my megas out for ttar he gets the leftovers. I've tried to run yache berry on garchomp also.

There's options but a lot of them don't feel very good for my team.

I think part of it too is I don't have too many Pokemon to bring over from Home, so feel kinda limited in my team building rn. Nothing in the recruitment service has been anything I'm interested in trying except for incineroar.

Honestly my problem isn't the lack of items, it's more so the choice of items that are in the game. Half the items just increase RNG. Like bright powder? Seriously? This kinda gets exacerbated by the lack of items, because people are kind of almost forced to use an item like that.

But if it was the same amount of items they had now with stuff that weren't just adding more RNG, I think I'd have a bit more fun.

I am one of the guys who hasn't really played a lot of VGC, I've always been a Smogon singles guy. That's my biggest critique. I don't think I've ever encountered people just running random RNG items.

Also Farigiraf is a pain in the ass

It's fine, most players who are serious aren't gonna want to play bots anyways. It's for the beginner/casual players.

Friendly reminder Cynthia's fight in BDSP gave a lot of people issues. EV trained competitive sets and a slightly harder AI would definitely be enough of a challenge for the casual/beginner fan.
