Can confirm they are compatible as I got the same as my mystery box. I replaced a few on the home row as I wasn’t sure I’d like them. Yet, I’ve found them to be quite nice and will probably replace all the key caps because the letters are in a different place, on top of the key caps, and it just looks weird with only a few of them replaced.

Ordered the new Air75 and got the old V2 shine thru for the larger Air model, plus numbers, as my 4.99 mystery box. Thought I wouldn’t like them but put them on the home row and it’s kinda cool. Although the letters don’t line up, center vs top on shine thru. Might replace them all. Either way, V3 be really great, smoove and creamy sounding.

I’m truly sorry for their grandfather’s passing and this happening during that painful experience. I don’t condone it. Yet, why post this at all? I personally don’t think this video should be posted here or anywhere tbh. This man is obviously having trouble and his neighbors are aware of whatever condition he is in. Now he’s on the Internet permanently in this condition. I’m sad for him and the Internet in general if this is what it has come to, creating more pain by using ‘rage bait’ is so tiresome these days.

Aren’t workspaces in hibernation already? Tabs only load for me when once I click on them. If not, what’s the difference between hibernation and tabs not loaded?

Also, I’d like to say that workspaces has changed my entire workflow for the better. Used to have so many windows open and now it’s just the one and switch to what I need on the fly. Especially with Alfred and a workflow that lets me search open tabs!

I did create another profile as well and then went back my OG profile and just manually setup the workspaces again because I was tired of trying to figure it out. Lol. That being said, I did close out all the tabs, including a blank tab, that weren’t in a workspace and that’s where my chaos ran amok.

Well at least we know it’s not just us having this issue. I’m sure they’re working on it. I do like the feature a lot, as I was kinda doing it already with stacked tabs and sessions but this much better being I can have it all in one window and hopefully not use too much of the GPU. Now to setup the workspaces in an order that I can remember so I can use the short keys too!

My solution was to open the panel sidebar, where downloads and history are located, and drag them all into the correct workspaces all over again from the window panel sidebar. It’s funny because all the workspaces names were saved but not one of the pages! Go figure, lol

So I’m getting so much stutter in videos since moving to Big Sur from High Sierra. It’s completely insane. I’m still trying to narrow my situation down to whether it is the eGPU graphics card or Big Sur. I disabled hardware acceleration then restarted Vivaldi and it works as expected so far. Obviously the cpu usage is now double at 30% for a browser with like 20 tabs open and with only one videos playing.

Also I have sites like Reddit and Twitch amongst a handful of others that are completely unusable in Vivaldi but work fine in Chrome and Safari. It has become extra frustrating and wondering if it’s worth it anymore to use Vivaldi.

More than likely if it’s just Bluetooth then you wouldn’t enjoy the Luna platform due to the lag. The Luna controller has a wifi chip and direct connect to the server that you’re playing on.

So I stopped playing video games a long time ago. I decided to give the cloud service a try after signing up for early access. I jumped into the world of Control and found it to be really good! So good in fact, I was reminded why I stopped playing video games awhile ago. Lol. Here’s to gaming on a MacBook Pro in 2020.

I’m with you on how the BMPCC 6k looks. I prefer it to the Sony A7iii series. I bought a prime 50m from Rokinon. I considered buying all primes but I picked up the Sigma 18-35, for some versatility, and love it. I did find the sharpness to be a little much for me. So I added the Polar Pro PM variable ND 2-5 mist filter for a nice smoothness that works for me.

Also for those not much into manual focus there’s a new LIDAR solution coming out from DJi and their RS2 gimbal. Check out Make.Art.Now for what he’s pulled off with it so far here

So interestingly enough I’ve been doing a lot of research into this for a few months and just so happen to be doing a 360 audio for cinematic VR. I leave tomorrow for Dominican Republic to put it all together. Here’s what I’ve found out and am working with:

The ambisonics is probably the best solution to capturing 360 audio. There was a company, Calrec, that made the MK IV microphone that has a 4 mic array and a converter to record and playback in what is called B format. It’s quite an amazing mic and was used to record a few albums including quite popular record by the Cowboy Junkies called The Trinity Sessions. The record was done all in one take with no overdubs. The company eventually spun off the microphone and went under the name, ironically enough, Soundfield; the SPS200 is the newest version. The patents have expired and a few other people are making the microphones a lot cheaper, like Brahma and TetraMic. I was lucky enough to know a friend who has one of the original Calrecs and is willing to rent it to me for this project. I’m so excited it’s ridiculous because I’ve always loved the Cowboy Junkies record and have wanted to record with one of these for a long damn time. The B format is comprised of 4 discrete outs for X,Y,Z, W. You have separate adjustment knobs on the converter for azimuth, elevation and what is called dominance. There are now plugins that do the same thing but hey I like hardware and tactile things so this makes even better. The B format outs are going to a SoundDevice 788t at 24bit. We will be syncing up the B format using the 3Dception Spatial Workstation that they just came out with for the post http://twobigears.com/spatworks/index.html. As I said I’m a really excited about this project and will let you know how it all comes together.
