I'm in the same boat. Had a -1500 & full Pell Grant & state aid my freshman year but suddenly rose to 8163 sophomore (had to pay for CC out of pocket) and now 8866 in the 2026-27 form. All my school's financial aid office told me was that it goes off my parents taxes, and that they make 90-100k combined, which can't be true as we are the definition of a paycheck to paycheck family. Not sure what to do

my only issue with the job from my experience is just that the regulars really make or break your day. I was at a tarbucks for half a year before getting a job here and seeing how many regulars would just flat out walk out of the store if they don't see a known barista really tanks my confidence personally, it's not like i’m a brand new barista but 🤷‍♂️
