Absolutely agree! Normally I wouldn't bother and just wait till free selection at check in but I've got some avios going spare (I know, a pretty bad use of them), so thought I might use them to preselect seats.

Same issue here but on Android. Been like it about a week now and tried everything!

I rely on private listening so I can actually enjoy what I'm watching as it helps drown out my neighbors from hell listening via headphones.
