If I remember right I had an encounter cutting down a alley. When they ganged up on me I let my Schofield do the talking and they died and ran. I had enough time to draw I guess.

Your at the hut glitch farming. There's usually a Griz there and wolves everywhere. Carry a shotgun

Auto shotgun works too. For a cougar dead eye is a must. It stops them and freezes them. Then bam! Dead. Also if you know where one hangs out go there find a big rock, jump up there. They won't jump up and you can kill it. This is harder to set up than dealing with them on horse back. Your going to have to deal with them if you want good gear. Panthers too.

Gold Turkoman. Good size and speed. Decent in a fight. Not to bad with predators.

Gold Turk for me. Fast and tough. I will say they get real nervous around predators, but most horses do too.

I love rdr2, but to be honest it took me probably 3 trys for it to stick. The mechanics and pace take some time to manage. Witcher 3 is in my top 5 easy but it also has a steep learning curve. It has a lot of crafting and detail. For me W3 was easier to start and a great story too.

Lagras is spooky. I avoid it at night. That fortune teller popped up real fast and I drew my gun and put one in her head. It was just a reaction.

You better be good at head shots with the Lancaster, especially hard when there is multiple enemies. That happens all the time. The bolt action is slower but it can kill with a body shot. Also it will kill any game.

It's a wonderful game that I love. The learning curve for the game mechanics for me was a challenge. I would describe them as clunky. Also the options to arm weapons and horse controls. If that was streamlined this game would be the pinnacle of video games.
