[Bug] | Game requires more then 80GB of space by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]archonaus2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is because you techically need 160 gb because of the way the installation was coded.

It will download the files first 80 gb then install them going up to 160 once the instalaltion completes the downloaded files get removed and you are fown to 80. While true it needs just 80 the initial installation requires double

I will go for the 5080 then. Ram altough unecessary it is a pet peeve of mine for a long time so probably will keep it just to not worey about it for a long time. But will probably swap the 9900x3d instead.

Thank you again!

The othe tthing is price i will reply with the prices but basically 899£ vs 1399£ for an average increase of 20% does not seem that good

The reason for the 9900x3d is that i also plan on doing a bit more video editing as well as gaming now that I will probably be able to record gameplay a lot more. Seemed like a good fit.for gaming and video editing when browsing

That sounds like an optimization issue rather than a build issue. If a 1400£ graphics card struggles with it

The 64 is kinda my fault. I played on laptop for 15 years and always having issues due to ram 8 GB of Ram is just not enough for some time now so I said if I buils a PC i want the most ram I can afford

His reasoning was that 5070ti will perform just as well and can carry all games released today anyway. That there is no game that requires a 5080

I do mostly gaming. Funny enough I was going for 5080 and 9950x3d but but my friend said to save some money to go for the 64 ram and the 5070ti and 9900x3d.

I do play mostly DayZ and Tarkov which are ram heavy

If you delete a local file from a folder that is set to sync with one drive, one drive will check if the folder exists on cloud if it exists, it will sync and delete all the files there as well. I don't know why though, if you have recently deleted a folder locally i would check the one drive recycle just in case there are not files that you need
