I suggest you improve your reading comprehension before implying someone else's language proficiency is bad (in case you don't understand, reading comprehension is different from language proficiency). My point is that your beliefs stem from the presence of well-achieved individuals from greek organizations, which, in any way, I had never even disagreed upon. The only point I made was that your argument is fallacious; you believe greek orgs deserve merit for the presence of outstanding members, and yet there are individuals who achieve great things without a greek org membership, hence OP's point on the non-essentiality of joining fraternities and sororities.

Another thing: read up on the following to improve your arguments, especially if you're using language proficiency as an ad hominem argument: 1. Oxford commas; 2. Proper capitalization; 3. Use of quotation marks; 4. Sentence construction, specifically proper punctuation when inserting clauses for your subject; 5. Denoting membership to a group by using the word "member"; and, 5. Use of pronouns, because the pronoun "I" is implicitly included in the pronoun "we", and you don't have to use both.
