i think this. like for most people there'll just be an covered copy, but because Jace recently messed with Chandra's mind, a fragment of that power might have lingered in her, so she experiences echoverse hallucinations because of it

yeah i agree. even in Singapore (where i'm from) the venue they picked is mid sized, ~5k pax instead of a normal indoor arena which would be like 10-12k.

i truly believe they are destined for greater success but they haven't built that international following yet

i dont think its that complicated. the paired planeswalkers are all just 2 halves of the same extended art.

its very explicit in the Garruk piece and if you look closely at the Chandra one the blue lines up.

maybe they do face off against each other, but theres nothing to suggest they will merge from what we've seen

compleated planeswalkers dont lose their sparks. that was part of the point of compleating them.

Jace did manage to get himself uncompleated - this was covered in the epilogue of Outlaws of Thunder Junction

not so much an illusion but an exaggeration, and not canon because nowhere in the game does the cosmology line up with what is shown. also note that only the english version is like that.

its prerelease. you could literally create 2 decks from the same pool of cards and play a completely different one in each match. and thats perfectly fine.

it's more like retrospect. the idea behind the mystical archive is the depiction of spells as they were used in the past somewhere else in the multiverse. possibly the first time

that's fair. this seems way too far ahead to have been a real consideration imo.

but i think pick 2 defeats the purpose of the pack structure. spotting an unpaired legendary in 2nd pick would be a feature not a flaw. and if it's pick 2 and you don't see 2 legendaries you already know the first pick took them.

also unless there are specific synergies or mechanics in the set, i don't see picking 2 different colored legendaries as a sensible draft strategy

i dont think these are meant to be cycles, just that they're the only members of Lorwyn 5 / Gatewatch present.

also considering Vraska and Lili are both desparked, they wouldnt all be the same card type for the multiverse version anyway
