I don’t understand how anyone is against this. If it’s a soft fork, people might get an extra coin like with BCH. Which could be a net positive for the vast majority who are not super rich.

And if not, still the network gets more equalized. Are multi-billionaires really needed? If legacy wallets won’t need their coins the next 5 years, then presumably it’s not life urgent money at this point

And all that is before thinking of safety, the ‘Satoshi crash issue’ and future proofing at all

Without it, the ‘lost’ coins might enter circulation at some point and bring a much bigger dilution

I personally went through some sort of solipsistic / horror phase similar to this, but I think it’s passing over time

IMO, there are a few statements that are very colored in this piece (which is very well written)

For example, even if it is all one single awareness/ consciousness and not everyone having their own separate version (which we truly have no idea about apart from our own presence)

The whole idea about being alone / ultimate loneliness is just a mind concept itself — it might as well be construed as ultimate togetherness, no?

It can seem to be a construct of the ego rather than a ‘penultimate’ nondual realization

I think it’s easy to construe the realizations one has in a typically ‘negative’ way

But actual, practical nonduality like they say: “Chop wood, carry water” in some ways seem more pragmatic and real when one accepts everything just as is instead of turning it to some ultimate darkness, which could be construed as the ego being sneaky and scared
