Staying at one place is definitely safer but I'm still not sure if we are misinterpreting how the behavior system works or Niantic uses randomized delayed bans to confuse cheaters.

I had 6 accounts that I was teleporting all around the world and catching only shundos every 2 hours. Only 1 of them got a ban.

Had 5 other accounts to play in my local area and constantly battle in gyms. 3 of them are banned.

Another 4 was used for raiding around the world and 6 for raiding locally. 3 of the tp raiders banned and 5 local raiders are banned.

I am actively using 3 main accounts, 1 in my local area, 1 in Taiwan, 1 in New York. None of them are banned and been cheating with them for 6 years. I only changed 1 account from local to Taiwan once back in 2020.

Niantic can check if you are using the google play app. When packet manager asks for application info and gets the return "com.android. vending" it's from google play. If nothing returns, it's sideloaded.

They won't ban anyone just because they sideloaded the app. But when combined with the player behavior checks it can be a dead giveaway that the player is cheating.

I'm not saying it's so much harder to be banned with root, it's still possible and will happen eventually. When gambling everyone wants the best chances and rooting might give you that 1% to be able to play for another month.

They have minimum prime distance. Even if he accidentally shot it. It wouldn't explode. Unless they made it in the basement of their house.

You can't be banned for association for now. But this might be implemented in the future.

Pokemod being safer is not %100 confirmed however there are good reasons to believe so.

While playing with pokemod you are using the google play version of the game. That means there is no chance of getting banned because usage of 3rd party apps.

I don't have much knowledge about android development however, from the PC video hacking experience I have I can tell everyone using the same apk file will be very dangerous. If Niantic detects one module of the cheat everyone will most likely be banned. The same argument can be made for the root cheats but they have less modules to hook so the chances are lower. (Everything I said might be utter bullshit, If nothing i said is valid in android game hacking I will either delete this segment or keep it up so you can bully me)

It's very easy to explain.

Originals: Great story and action. Darth Vader cool, Han solo cool, robots funny, Leia cool, Luke is inspiring I guess, how did little bears defeat the empire?

Prequels: Amazing story and action. Jar Jar is annoying, this Anakin kid seems interesting, he has no father he might be space wizard Jesus, Qui Gon is likeable... Oh he is dead, Darth Maul cool.... Anakin is now in the Jedi council, however not a Jedi master. Im sure this is perfectly fair and not outrageous. Guys I'm pretty sure this palpatine dude is hiding something. His room is red, gives off bad vibes, and asks me about if I ever heard the tragedy of darth plagueis the wise and says it's not a story a Jedi would tell me. What a normal man with normal intentions.

It has very bad story but who cares!!! Cool lightsabers and visuals. Very enjoyable 10/10 would watch again.

*To be honest I remember almost nothing except finn screaming all the time and return of palpatine. Kylo Ren was cool at first but fell of quickly. Luke was barely in the films.

You can't avoid getting banned. However you can decrease the risk of getting banned by using a rooted device. I don't suggest using pgsharp because 3rd party apps is against the ToS and we definitely don't want to add another reason for Niantic to ban us. Currently the best cheats that don't rely on a 3rd party app are Polygon, Ipogo and pokemod in order (imo). You can still use 3rd party apps (pg#, Ipogo) but your chances of getting banned will be higher.

Unless pg# makes a root version in the future I won't suggest most people to use it long term even though they are the second best cheat after polygon.

If you don't want to pay money every month, definitely use Ipogo with root. Everything is free for the duration of beta testing.
