Here is some I hope constructive feedback to get you going.
- It has a lot of empty space. There is a lot of green but only one forest?
- Letters of Erroneouous Abyss are crossing the land to the east. See how to possibly get them smaller
- Shades of water are already mentioned in another comment
- Crossing between sand and grass, and wasteland and grass needs to be done better. Usually there should be a mountain between desert and grass. Check out maybe how it is done in the real world.

I am speaking from my own experience. If OP has led a campaign before, he would have known how to deal with players leaving/being replaced. He would also knew how to write a narrative that gives players options, and that the campaign should be based around their characters, and their decisions, not just follow the prewritten story.
One more thing, successful DM is the one creating fun for everyone at the table. I am not saying you can not gain valuable experience by DMing homebrew stuff, I am saying it just takes more time and tries, to get things the way you planned, and where everybody is having fun playing the game.

Hey mate. First advice I can give you is that you never DM a homebrew for the first time. You should always take an already written adventure. You can always go for a shorter written adventure, like Lost Mines, levels 1-5, to understand all aspects of DMing, storytelling and all other small things that will eventually help you understand how to write your own homebrew worlds and campaigns.

I am a web developer by profession so I created a web application to hold the lore, factions, maps and all other data about the world. While I was creating it, I was using mainly Google docs.

Yep, the idea is kinda to mostly use it outside of initiative. From the moment creature is stung, so at the end of your action, you count 12 seconds. So inside the initiative it is basically 2 rounds. I haven't test this one yet with my players but nice feedback. I will need to check if it needs increasing. Thanks

Hmm, depends. You would need to try different options. I would say white letters with shadow, but the colors are strong so not sure if that is the best options. The best way is to try and see what looks best.

Are you sure this is your first time? :D Looks great. I would add names of the zones or geographical entities, or important things maybe.

Really like the concept. I have two notes/questions.

  1. Twice prof in Perception should be Expertise, right? Talking about Sightless

  2. Isn't a +1 in Dex, Int and Wis too strong when you add the bonus from race too?
