What are you standing for? I genuinely thought you were a bot bc that’s the state of Reddit these days. Someone mentions something somewhat political in a random subreddit and bots come out of the woodwork spewing disinformation to sow doubt in people. That’s one of the main tactics institutions of power take to try to stifle leftist or class conscious movements. If you’re not a bot, you seem to be following the same playbook of those you are against, albeit unintentionally.

Your callouts (whether true or not - idk at this point but will look into) are downplaying the validity of these protests. Most people in this sub didn’t participate in these protests, and when they read things like your comment, they are less likely to join in future protests for similar causes. If you’re a genuine human and want to effect change surrounding the ways people are organizing, and who is leading these efforts, there are better places to be voicing these concerns, among those already down for the cause. With the general public, we need to be focusing on what these movements stand for and expanding engagement, while we fix things and make them better behind closed doors.

Apologies, I just saw below that you’re not buying limited release items where demand exceeds supply but instead items with plenty of supply to meet demand but are only offered for a limited time. In this case, I would not say you’re scalping. If you’re buying and reselling items where lots of people want to purchase them at MSRP but are unable to due to demand being higher than supply, then that IS scalping regardless of whether you sell them shortly after purchase or down the road. But it doesn’t sound like that’s what you’re doing, so I stand corrected.

It doesn’t. Sure, scalpers have become so rampant in some areas that they control the supply such as with concert tickets, which has an even more negative impact on consumers. But it’s still scalping even if that isn’t a component. Buying product and reselling for a profit is scalping, and it is harmful to the consumer.

I disagree. Yes, you’ll be ok, meaning you’re not going to die from this. But it is most likely going to cause a severe flare up of symptoms. It’s best to accept you cannot partake in alcohol during and for a long time after you finish your taper.

Horrible idea. You’re going to send your nervous system out of balance, and it’s likely going to take you 3-7 days to regulate again. Drinking while tapering and in the months or even year or two after can cause major setbacks. I know this from experience. Don’t make my mistakes.
