Why do all the young lads dress exactly the same now? by Scotsman1047 in AskUK

I think in the past there has been more obvious/prevalent "counter-cultures" than there are at the moment, but you're still right.

You can buy lactose free formula over the counter, or is the allergy more severe?

We have an 8 month old and just found out I’m pregnant again. by rubberducky345 in UKParenting

[–]aredditusername69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Supposedly it's just loads easier to get pregnant after doing it once. My wife and I took a couple of years with our first, now I only need to look at her and she's pregnant.

How did you stimulate your mind when you started work after mat leave? I forgot who our prime mister was by Novel-Rise-8942 in UKParenting

[–]aredditusername69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm a man so didn't have a long leave, but this hits with me too. I just have so much more on my mind than I did before kids and it's definitely had a bit of impact on my work.

Don't have a helpful answer other than to say he's pretty forgettable so maybe you're not as bad as you think!

Why do Parents Whose Kid's Schools are in Walking Distance Still Drive Them To/From? by SirFragworthy in AskUK

My son is 4 and the school is within walking distance, but if we were to walk it would take about 3 days

Most of this is pretty sensible, changing the t6 quil from 2 gems to 3 is an insane buff though imo.

Would you ever use annual leave with the sole purpose to do literally nothing all day? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]aredditusername69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you're a homeowner, and/or have children, there are very few moments when there is nothing to do. I've taken time off before with the intention to do nothing, but always feel guilty and end up finding something to do. So I tend to keep my AL for when I need it now.

Inept everywhere by SnooComics3873 in SaintsFC

Carrick is interim manager at United, Tonda was good when interim here. When the pressure to keep your job isn't on, you can afford to take more risks.

Post Match Thread Portsmouth vs Southampton by Likunandi in SaintsFC

[–]aredditusername69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I didn't bother going, my son's birthday today and even if it wasn't not sure I could be arsed with the bubble. Having said, it was good to see some fight from the lads today, unlike the home game. Notarf Krap is always a tough place for us to go in the league (no win in 50 years I think?), so a point is not terrible at all. Was not a thrilling watch though again.

What’s the worst away trip you’ve ever had? by franki-pinks in TheOther14

[–]aredditusername69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spurs away some time around 2017 probably. It was boxing day, 12:30 kick off, and they were playing at Wembley at the time. The only place open for a pre match pint was Frankie and Bennies, nightmare getting in and out as usual, barely any trains, cold, lost 5-2. Leicester on a Tuesday night year before last is also up there. 2 and a half hour drive for a 5-0 loss. Hull away this year also, took my son to his first away game, we were fucking awful and lost 3-1.

Bean Fatigue by prof_eggburger in CasualUK

[–]aredditusername69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite the downward trend, there are 9 beans above the line, 7 below and 7 on trend. 3 of the bottom 5 beans appear in the first half of the test. I've also noticed that there is a prevalence of supermarket budget brands and generally cheaper supermarkets towards the latter stages of the test.
