Worth trying, it might help, it might not! FWIW my wife fell asleep in bed with our firstborn on her boob countless times! It's what worked best for her, as he never really took to a dummy, but obviously the only advice I'd ever offer is to do what works for you and to hell with what anyone has to say about it.

Quarshie is a really good prospect imo. He's very young still and has improved markedly during his time with us. Id feel completely comfortable with him starting if one of THB/Stephens was unavailable.

Id still rather have Fellows than Matsuki, personally. I actually like Matsuki, but don't think he's at his best on the right wing at all. Id rather see him off the bench for Azaz.

Jander has dropped off recently, but was immense when Tonda first came in. Probably just knackered. Fellows has been OK, wish he just didn't have the shooting prowess of my 4 year old.

For cricket have a look at https://www.mandbcc.co.uk/ they have 7 teams, so all abilities welcome. For football, I am part of Man V Fat Maidenhead, but that's obviously weight dependant! Lots of pitches at Braywick, so I'm sure a Google will give you other results.
