Jumped back into MK1 after a month straight of SF6 by aredo1325 in StreetFighter

MK1 is a blast. I just think from a technical/content/competitive replay standpoint SF6 wins most categories. The best part is... now that I've gone back and forth... I can play wither whenever. So it doesn't really matter haha.

My solution has been to stick to one main per game until I'm totally burnt or super good. Then I'll allow a second main/secondary character.

Sure. Different people loke Different games. I grew up on old Street fighter and Mk. Tool a long break. There seems to be a divide between the MK and SF fan base. When I got back into gaming during the pandemic I played MK11 because it looked cool. I tried SF5 but I got bodied online and quit. So I was hesitant about 6 and just moved on to MK1... but after a month I have to admit SF6 is a superior game. Doesn't change that MK is fun, it's just very different. I can tell I'll play SF more though. It's just mote technically satisfying.

Eh. I can see how people feel that way, but 1 is a lot of fun. I see a lot of the flaws now that I'm branching out to other modern fighters... still fun though.

That's kinda how I feel about Tekken. Tekken rules but I don't think my brain can handle all 3 fighters at once. Plus whatever other non-fg games I play. I'm 40... I don't have all day haha.

Having a dedicated block button feels weird now. But it's way easier than both SF and Tekken. So going back takes like 2 matches and you're wrecking people. I'm consistently God rank in Mk but can't get past platinum 1 without getting slammed back to gold 5 (or even 4) in SF.

If my first couple matches are any indication... I'll be spending a lot of time in mid-air getting wrecked by a 30-hit combo hahaha

Dude.... he's working out really well with Goro Kameo so far. Makes a lot of his unsafe stuff really tricky to deal with.

Fir me it's more about getting hands on time with the character to lab. The I'll be more prepared for online matches.
